One gigantic old Kanata silver maple had split and was starting to decay in the cleft, making it a…read morefall hazard. Manotick Tree folks came out, with crane, workers suspended from fixed branches, and totally removed the tree in one day. They left the area spotless after, and were very careful about protecting a very close fence and other property areas. They also opened the canopy on another huge maple nearby, and at our request, took great care not to tred on small spring flowers that were starting to grow underneath. They set cones and we found no damage. We're very pleased with their work.

don't bother with this company. It took three visits before they got the job "somewhat" right…read more Since I was not home for each visit, they trimmed everything in sight, even plants I did not want trimmed. This year I gave them another chance. It took them two visits. The first visit, with a crew of two, was about 45 minutes long. This to trim about 90 feet of hedge and two evergreens. Frankly, the hedge either looked scalped or not trimmed at all. My evergreen trees were not symmetrically trimmed. They were to come on an agreed upon date and they never showed up on that date. They were supposed to call before coming to the house to ensure I was home and could point out specifics. They never called. I was lucky to be home for the second visit. I even had to lend them a small saw to remove some overlong branches that a hedge trimmer couldn't tackle. I could go on but will leave it at that. My money will be spent with another company next year.
