Ben is a very talented and passionate photographer. Our parents and our venue both came to us as a couple after the wedding and said how much they loved Ben as a photographer (I know some venues hate certain vendors, but our - Hilton Garden Inn wanted to add Ben to their preferred vendor list after our wedding). Ben offers many wedding packages and options to fit many different budgets. Ben also helped us out when we were in a bad spot with our guest book printer, and truly saved the day! He is based out of St. Joseph, MI while we live in Chicago, but Chicago is within his travel radius. He was able to come out to the city for no extra charge! We also took a trip out to St. Joe for a 2nd shoot, and being a native, Ben had some great locations to show us. One thing we loved about Ben was his passion for his craft. The number of times we found Ben crawling on the ground or rolling around to get the perfect shot were far too many to count. It is great to feed off of his energy. You can truly tell he loves what he does! For the wedding, we also recommend that couples spend the extra and go for the photo booth. Ben has a unique approach to the photo booth that we have yet to see at a wedding, and it was a fan favorite! Not the case with Ben - I had several guests comment on his professionalism and method of capturing the true essence of the event in an unintrusive manner. The flash bulbs did not stop throughout the event, and Ben was sure to identify great opportunities for photos, such as a few in a field at sunset and a few more later in the evening just as a low fog settled close to the outdoor reception area. I would absolutely recommend Ben's services to anyone looking for a great photographer with a fantastic rapport and more photojournalistic style.
