To this day I am still unsure if I was traveling at the speed the officer stated (75mph in a 55mph). Luckily Collins Law Firm was there to help me out. I sent an email directly through their website and they responded quickly (and this was after 5pm). He explained the possible outcomes and answered all my questions. The payment process was hassle-free. My court date was on 11/02/2018 and Collins Law Firm represented me in my place without me losing any time with work. I just received a closing letter informing me I will not be receiving any Insurance/drivers license points. Thank you Collins Law Firm! You were there when I needed you and highly recommend your services to anyone with similar needs.

DO YOURSELF A FAVOR, stay away from this lawyer…read more Guy was an absolute smart POS on the phone. I needed some recommendations as a new resident to Wilmington, I would've paid for them. But that typical lawyer attitude doesn't do it for me. Not paying thousands of dollars to have to treat me like a child. When I told him it wasn't going to work, he called my phone over and over to the point where I had to block his number. Update: if there is anything you want to judge before using this lawyer; look at his response to negative reviews, he can't handle them so he puts people's business on front street. Buddy you're a real piece of work.

Bradley Coxe is an attorney who also handles residential property issues, including Homeowners…read moreAssociation (HOA) disputes, in North Carolina. Mr. Coxe utilizes demand letters to protect client rights and, as noted by my experience, successfully avoided litigation by motivating the opposing party to acknowledge their legal obligations. He is knowledgeable, providing informed guidance, and skilled in courtroom matters if a situation does advance to litigation. His paralegal, Skye, is both knowledgeable and empathetic. I recommend his firm wholeheartedly.

I feel being a business attorney you could at least call back and say we're too busy, or your needs are not something we handle. Probably better I found out about them this way. My opinion, call someone else.

I would like to recommend Nathaniel H. Cook (Nate) if you ever need a real estate closing attorney…read more We have purchased 11 homes and I have previously worked with closing/real estate attorneys for many years with careers in title insurance and mortgage banking, Nate stands out as a detail oriented, caring, intelligent, responsive and committed attorney. We had issues with our purchase and many unusual issues related to a new home build, Nate went above and beyond to answer our questions and advise us even though it was clear this was not normally part of the process he would need to advise on. I will be sharing his information to refer clients to him at every opportunity as I don't think you will find anyone better to assist you with your home purchase.

Not once did I receive any paperwork from the conversation they "said" they had with the insurance lawyer Seemed that the only contact was when I did the contact to the lawyer asking what was going on There is no proof he did anything at all After $20,000 to the lawyer NOTHING!!! And because I kept demanding they will no longer represent me because of "respect" I guess the last straw was I wanted to talk to them because they said they can't do anything else My fault for making the appointment to meet but I figured it would just be another $1,000 Bill

If your thinking about divorce or custody concerns. Read this in its entirety. Words from a male…read moreperspective. Words can't even fully describe how amazing Wanita Ellis and her team were at the Cape fear Family Law Group with handling my custody and divorce case. Starting with the first day of consultation I felt extremely comfortable and reassured that they would take care of my needs. 10 years of marriage, children, and owning a business together seemed like a daunting and impossible task to negotiate. Wanita was able to close and complete my custody and divorce tactfully and aggressively with the best interest of my children and myself. There was always open communication with her and every time you talk to her you can tell in her voice, that she is truly compassionate about what she does. I had so many fears going into this chapter of my life. If I had known that this process would have been this smooth, I would have executed this much sooner. My best words to describe Wanita would be, a calm voice of reason. She saved my children and myself mentally, spiritually, and financially. As for financial cost I was shocked at how inexpensive this process was. In my mind I was expecting to be in debt above my eyeballs but she set me up to be financially secure. For you that's reading this! There is a reason your looking up lawyers in the Wilmington area. My advice is to call the office and schedule a consultation. You can scan and read all you want online and talk to friends or family but the best thing you can do is talk to the source. Don't do this alone. Its a small financial price to pay to protect your family and you. Wanita when you read this, I just want you to know how grateful I am that you were placed in my life. Thank you for fighting for us, caring, motivating, guiding, and ultimately saving my children and me. I'm truly blessed to have had you on my team. Thank you

I hate to leave a negative review, but I want to save someone from experiencing what we went…read morethrough. Alex Gillie was hired to represent us in a custody case. Her lack of confidence alone is enough reason to not have her represent you in important court cases. She cowers to other attorneys and stumbles across her words. Alex Gillie does not have the best interest of her clients in mind because she is not confident enough to stand up to opposing attorneys and fight for what is right. Each time she appeared in court, she looked sloppy and unprofessional in her attire and grooming. Everyone has to start somewhere, but Alex Gillie is in the wrong field. She showed up multiple times to scheduled court hearings completely unprepared to represent her client, leaving us feeling helpless. It was so bad, that she flat out said she was not prepared and my husband was left with no option but to represent himself on TWO separate occasions. Please do not put yourself through the mistake of hiring Alex Gillie. She is the opposite of who a person would need going to battle for something as important as child custody. I feel sorry for anyone who has made the mistake of hiring this unprofessional and inexperienced individual. Some people do not have the funds to hire a new attorney after realizing what they are dealing with, so save yourself and look elsewhere. I have heard Heather Kaemmer is amazing and comes highly recommended. If you can get her, GREAT!!! But do NOT settle for Alex Gillie if Heather Kaemmer is not available to accept your case.
