I told them that several home pregnancy tests I took was negative. My usual doctor is out for another week so they gave me an appointment with Dr. Fields instead. There was no wait at all and I was very impressed with that. The nurse had me pee into a cup and a few minutes later, Dr. Fields came in.I talked to him about how I'm trying to conceive and that I'm concerned about my late period. I also informed him of my history of hypothyroidism and me not currently being on any medication for it. Without doing ANY further tests, he simply told me that it's normal for any woman to simply miss a period, that unless I've missed 3 in a row, there's not really much he can do for me.He said that URINE pregnancy test they just did on me also showed negative.I asked him if there was any test he could do, a blood test for pregnancy, or at least to make sure that all my levels are fine, and he said "he could.. but that he's done with all that" that I should call my ob-gyn instead.If I had known that all they were gonna do was another URINE test, I had 6 more in my drawer I could've used instead! He did check my breathing though.. so I guess that was worth my co-pay?

I paid out of pocket to come to this doctor and now he wants me back if it doesn't fix itself, over what? Natural meds and prayer? ) The second reason was depression meds.and had to fill out a paper that says if I am sad or not. So I was honest.
