I paid them a lot of money to do my 1040 and when I asked for it to be partially or fully reimbursed the lady responding told me it was my fault for sending email (something they had told me to do) and for not catching their error. Shoddy work and poor customer service. I set aside the $500 to pay them when I received their invoice. A year later they sent me a bill for $5000! I contacted them and said it looked like they accidentally added a zero to my total. They then claimed that because my business received a larger amount of a loan they required a larger fee. So since my business struggled and had a higher payroll cost to over they now required 10x's more of a fee for doing the same exact amount of paperwork?! They threatened they would not complete the final forgiveness paperwork without me agreeing to this new fee. I tried to discuss the quote Id received from them in writing and they refused to talk to me, assigned me to collections and put a judgement on me. I would NEVER do business with them again and highly caution anyone trusting their shady business practices!

My business used them for a few years after our previous (absolutely amazing) accountant passed away. Soelberg repeatedly failed to communicate in a timely manner month after month. They failed to have our yearly tax return done on time even though they had all the necessary info long before the due date. There were repeated calls from various employees all asking the same things on multiple occasions, Soelberg employees were clearly not communicating with each other. I received an invoice from Soelberg that was from 4 years ago, according to them it had been overlooked. This same thing has happened to several other businesses that were previous clients of Soelberg. An accounting firm that can't even keep their own books straight should not be one that is providing accounting services to anyone. We found another accounting firm a few years ago and they have been wonderful to work with ever since. Please DO NOT use Soelberg.
