When driving on it, our cars would "float" or slide around because it was a pile of gravel with 3000 lb autos. I called S.F.T. Concrete to bid on laying a concrete driveway and installing concrete forms to our RV/Trailer pad to the back of our garage and not only did they do a fantastic job, Tevita recommended we use the gravel already there to help offset the cost. They used what they needed for the driveway then took the remainder and used it for the drive path to our RV/Trailer pad to the back! They came every day and even a couple of weeks later to check on their work and check with us to see if we were satisfied. I've never had a contractor come back to see if we were satisfied or had any questions/concerns once they were done...Superb Customer Service and fantastic workmanship.

His bid was fair and the most reasonable of the three companies I solicited. He charged exactly what he bid, communicated well about when he was coming (seems well-organized), is reliable, hard-working, experienced, and knowledgeable. He went above and beyond what we hired him to do, as I was tasked with digging a 14' x 18" trench to bury the electrical conduit for the stub up to the hot tub before the slab could be poured, and Juan simply helped me dig it (he had much better tools for the job). I think Juan's willingness to work hard for the success of his jobs and help with something additional like this is rare and valuable. When the job was complete, Juan thoroughly cleaned up all remnants of gravel, etc... on the road, in the carport, and in the backyard. I received four quotes and he was the only one that gave me a written bid detailing concrete psi, scope of work, etc. Other companies couldn't detail what was covered. Steve was able to work through a some extra issues/work we uncovered and communicated to us through the delivery delays that were outside his control. We would use Steve time and time again for any concrete needs.

He neglected to text me and tell me he'd be running a little late. It turned out to a big fat lie. I gave him until 3:00 pm. He kept making excuses that they wanted him to do more work and again didn't notify me. It all turned out to be total lies and he's a scammer. It was too late to stop the Venmo transaction. He is really responsive until you send him money. I realized after I was too trusting and when I read other reviews here I noticed he had done the same thing two years ago. Also, he hadn't had a review on Yelp for over two years. Don't be trusting. I requested the money back through Venmo and he obviously didn't send the money back. Buyer beware this guy Miguel is a smooth snake like character. I hope I save someone else from getting ripped off from him.

The contractors are very careful not to leave building waste around and take pride in a clean construction site. I just spent a couple days over the last two weeks working with these guys. By me saying working,…read morethey did all the work and I got in the way. The way our relationship started was to have them give me a bid to wire my generator. I had already pulled the 2/0 wire the 90 feet through conduit, so they had to install some intelligence wires (6 x 12 AWG), connect everything up, and they came back for the start up. The price for the work was much less than I expected, I did not ask for a military discount, but when Dave saw our military tribute wall with my kids and others, he extended me a discount (very much appreciated but not deserved). They did an excellent job, Nick and Dalton were fun to spend time with. We had a few things in common, and while I tried not to be too much of a distraction, I think I got as many questions as I asked. Not only for their pricing structure, but for the owners, the guys doing the install and throwing the switch putting the tickles through the wire. Oh yeah, they also fixed a wall outlet run that was bad and did not charge me. My job was a small home, but I was made to feel as important as the next guy or the business owner. In short, I don't think service falls off based on the price of the job. I would highly recommend them as an Electrical/Electrician Contractor.

It was both a relief and amazing to have worked with Whitaker Roofing for my home's roof…read morereplacement. From initial contact to the end result, every step in the process was not just completed, it was completed with efficiency and premium professionalism: I cannot say enough good about this company and its work ethic. 1) Bidding: Grant initially came out and was on time, spending as much time as needed to patiently answer questions, no pressure. The two bids he sent were reasonably priced and based on two different shingles I'd chosen. Jare sent past installation addresses so I could see how each of the shingle options would look installed, very helpful. Juli came out twice with samples (she has a good eye), and Grant even laddered up so that we could be sure of color choice. 2) Pre-work: The week before replacement started, Juli, Jare, and Grant all answered questions and concerns I had, promptly. When confirming the city permit was in place, Jare was ahead of me, had already ordered it and sent a copy. The day before work started Heber came by, introduced himself, and chatted with me about project requirements. 3) Replacement: My home is one level and they had it done in 2.5 days, including a snag. Jorge and his crew worked a long day the first day and they worked hard, every day. When Jorge brought roof decking needing replacement to my attention on day one, I feared an extended project. Nope. Jorge had already given Grant a heads-up so Grant was already pricing the extra wood and with my permission had it ordered for pickup. Heber delivered the extra decking around lunch time that same day and the crew had no project down time. Wow, Whitaker Roofing's people work together like a well oiled machine. 4) Quality Assurance: Throughout tear-down and installation Jorge addressed all of my concerns (due to the defective roof I had). Heber made sure the completed roof installation was correct, up to specification, and up to building code by doing his own inspection. The minor things found were corrected the same day. After I later had a new cooler installed on the roof Heber even came out and checked the sealant to ensure no leaking. Juli was always super prompt in answering my follow up questions too. For anyone reading this, this is what a roofing company that cares about customers looks like. 5) Warranty: I went with CertainTeed Landmark Pro shingles so the manufacturer's product warranty is a good one. Above that, Whitaker Roofing included their own workmanship warranty that is the best I came across in gathering roofing company bids. And I had over a dozen roof bids. That they are a local family-run company is also a plus. 6) End Result: The new roof looks great! Neighbors have complimented on it and also said they too would hire Whitaker Roofing after seeing how efficiently they work and how attractive the new roof is. I would *highly* recommend Whitaker Roofing Services and their entire team!
