The transfer went well but he over promised and under delivered. He missed almost every deadline we agreed on. During our vetting process (we interviewed 3 other companies), we asked if he was able to handle our account with all of his other clients. He said it would not be a problem. We were lead to believe that there would be more than one person working on our account but it did not seem to be the case. Many times he took more than 24 hours to return urgent email requests during the set-up process. During our 2 months as a client, Lei had numerous family emergencies or car problems that forced him to cancel scheduled weekly meetings. He told me on one occasion that he could not respond to our requests as he was working on another client for 2 days. He then terminated our contract and left for China (due to a family emergency) for 2 weeks and was unable to service our business. He gave us 3 business days to make other arrangements before he left for China. We had to scramble to find another bookkeeping firm only to find out that our QBO was locked to his subscription and only he was able to release it. We had to threaten legal action in order to get control back. Lei is a very nice person but be aware that his services are best for very small businesses and he has a significant problem with time management. I wanted to pay our experience forward and make sure you and your business were aware of some of the limitations when hiring LW Accounting before you engaged with the service.
