I've been there several times.
Although the interior is not fancy at all, it looks very clean and the service is very fast and very good as well. There's a great variety of cold and hot buffet dishes. All the different kinds of food were delicious. Their salads were superb with a rich choice of dressings.
Regarding the quality and the variety of the meats, I think they've had everything a good Brazilian steak house may offer. Once you tell a waiter how you want to have your roasted meat, raw, medium or well done, it seems he sets on an alarm to his fellow waiters and they serve the meat roasted exactly as the customer wishes to have.
Same thing goes for preferences on certain kinds meats. I love cupim, fillet mignon and pernil. I hate fraldinha and coracoes. They always remember what I would like to have or not to have when I make it clear to them.
Their wine cellar is very good too. They serve very good Chilean wines.
This venue is much cheaper than the moderate restaurants in town. If you don't want to pay thrice as much -maybe much more- for fancy places and have good quality of food, then Monchique Rodizio is the right place.
