She is extremely skilled and is really great at doing gua sha compared to some of the other younger techs who arent as experienced. The overall vibe of the place is very laid back and clean, beautiful interior and does not feel initmidatinf compared to other medi spas. The warm green makes you have very "natural" vibes and you step into a pod with a reclining kind of barber shop style chair and it feels kind of like you're on another planet (in a good way). They have the famous red light bathroom you can take a picture in too. I had the Hydrate and Glow facial and had the option of just relaxing or having each step explained. Since I barely get facials I wanted to know what was being done and I felt very cared for! I'm looking forward to seeing my results. I was in and out in 30 minutes. There is no option to tip, too! I was surprised but it's a little treat as well as it's a deduction in what I expected to pay and it also means they must pay their staff well!

I immediately left to assist him and informed the clinic on the phone. They still charged me a "no show" fee. When I called to discuss it, the receptionist told me I should have come inside the clinic first to inform them in person before attending to my injured child, and said to "remember this in the future." That response was shocking and completely lacking empathy. I cancelled all future appointments -- a clinic that cannot understand real emergencies and family priorities is not a place I want to seek care.

I spend 2 hours with her and don't have 1 complaint about her services. I have had many spa services in the past but I must say, never such a great and peaceful experience than as with Bal. I left her room feeling very rejuvenated, relaxed and ready to face the day. I would not hesitate to book a future spa appt. with Bal. Update: They finally have some blinds now in the bright…read morelounge area- doesn't block the view of construction and still a tad too bright for spa ambiance. Would be great to have shutters. They have more of an assortment of snacks versus the Natures granola bars now. There's a bit of a sell of products at the end of the facial but not too pushy... no samples to offer which is tough to sell with pricy medical grade products. Thuy the RMT is amazing at addressing any concerns and offers stretches to help with issues after. Tried out the new location in Langley. Spa is beautiful. Super bright and airy and big too. Booked RMT- unable to book online but was able to book via email with response promptly. RMT is only through one therapist which is only on Tuesdays... bummer, I hope there will be more options later since places like Spautopia has many RMTs so it's easy to have a spa date. Lounge is beautiful- so bright ... only wish there was an option for it to be dimmer for a more relaxing... nap inducing experience. There's some snacks and water/tea availab Massage was lovely. Change room is big- was a bit odd there was no body wash but shampoo and conditioner in the shower stall. Sauna is small but complimentary to use with appointments.
