What unfolded was something I would have never expected. From the beginning he was intense, rude and rushing me. My home is immaculate and was ready and because I wanted to move plates from the inside to the outside he criticized me and said I wasn't ready for the shoot. He was rushing me since he had double booked himself. I was paying double, from the last photographer I had used and I was being rushed. He told me to go in a room and stay there, the way he spoke down to me was shocking. He forbid me from being around or even involved in the shoot. I asked him to take a hallway photo and he mocked me "no, that was in the next package up that you didn't get" I was so upset at how he spoke to me, at one point I said I think we should just stop the shoot, you are rushed, speaking poorly to me & it had only been an hour of his time and he was still rushing the shoot to be over. In what world was the shoot ever going to be that fast? He slammed his hands on my kitchen island and said "On God!" while raising his voice at me that he has 5 star reviews and that he wanted me to pay him before he left. I stopped him and said please don't bring God into a business setting, and that I felt very uncomfortable and asked him to step outside and leave. He shouted and said "Oh always the victim" I just met him, I do not know him. It was clear he had a distain for women and I know he would never have spoken that way to a man. He refused to leave when I asked the first time and continued to raise his voice and so I got my husband on the phone for safety, I myself stepped outside to feel safer. He followed and continued to yell down my driveway after I told him I was uncomfortable, yelling "I need to be paid, fuck! and rambling on about how I was treating him? I stayed calm and quiet and he finally left. He text me that I owed him money. what?! I was treated terribly, felt unsafe and he wanted more money from me? I text him to not come back to my property for twilight photos, delete the photos he took and to never come back. I had my time wasted, zero photos, all my staging gone to waste, felt unsafe and had to scurry to find a new photographer last minute. He kept my $300 deposit and I had to pay another photographer, buy fresh flowers again, re-stage, cancel my trip home by a few days. I was hugely inconvenienced and have never been so disrespected as a woman. I hope if you are a woman, or care about professionalism, that you never hire this guy. Walking RED FLAG!

We were extremely disappointed with Robert's professionalism and work product when we hired him in…read morethe past to provide engagement and wedding photography services. Since my original review was removed for lack of detail, here's the full and ugly truth: Robert FAILED TO SHOW UP to an appointment for our engagement photo with no notice, leaving us waiting/wondering, wasting our time and money (for make-up). He claimed this was due to his assistant not getting us a message. We were clearly not pleased, but decided to give him another chance, and rescheduled the shoot. The product was mediocre; only one photo we would have selected, but Robert chose to convert that image to Black and White. When we asked for a color version of that image, he couldn't provide it, stating he did not have the original (Seriously?!? Even I, as an amateur photog, use a non-destructive editor and back up my work!). Given this blatant unprofessional conduct, we cancelled the contract for our wedding, hired another photographer, but Robert refused to refund our deposit. I didn't bother with taking him to court (but should have for breach of contract). So, if you want a photographer who fails to show up or practice proper work-flow, hire Robert! Otherwise, look elsewhere.
