She carried a very calm attitude and carefully listened to my problem, gave proper guidance on how to spend your day to stay pain free, what to expect from the treatment and how I play a very important role in my treatment. She takes insurance and I shared my insurance details with her to know what I need to pay which was very welcoming for me. Setting up appointments and rescheduling was always a breeze. Clean and beautiful space, very hygienic. Overall i feel grateful and fortunate that I get to find dr Shang's care and i couldn't recommend her less to anyone. I visited Arlington Acupuncture to see Dr. Kim, based on the outstanding reviews here, and was…read moresurprised (and a bit taken aback) when I arrived for my first appointment and discovered I was to be seen by a different acupuncturist. As it turns out, that acupuncturist, Stephen Semptimphelter (EAMP, LAc) has recently become the primary practitioner at this location, while Dr. Kim, the owner (who treated me one time and is also fantastic), primarily works at his Seattle office, keeping a few hours each week to tend to his Arlington patients. However unsure I was at the start of that first visit, my concerns were immediately eased. Having had both foot and shoulder surgeries several months before, I'd continued to suffer a frozen big toe joint and ongoing pain in my shoulder due to "guarding." My podiatrist had only days before told me, after several visits with my (exceptional) physical therapist, that it was possible the joint had simply recovered to the extent that it would on its own, and that I would either have to live with it or take any of a number of unattractive options in an attempt to free it, none of them guaranteed to work, nor free of risks to the joint. I was stunned and elated when after a single electroacupuncture treatment by Stephen, flexibility in the joint improved, albeit almost imperceptibly. Six visits later and with a lot of work at home to capitalize on every little bit of increased range of motion, I was able to wear some of my regular shoes for the first time since before surgery, 5 months before. Although he treated my shoulder in various ways at different visits, it was one particular visit when chose a different technique and also utilized cupping that changed the game. Coincidentally or not, things began to change that day, up and down for a couple of weeks, nothing but improvement since. I continued PT, and, just as with my foot, I took advantage of the improvement and advanced in strength and flexibility at home, through yoga, stretching, and gentle, careful use of weights. Now, with PT and intensive acupuncture treatment completed, after a year of acute pain before surgery and months of continued pain afterward (although recovery from the surgery itself was almost non-existent -- I hit the jackpot with an orthopedic surgeon as well), I continue to make gains every day. Just this one decision, to give acupuncture a try at this clinic, made all the difference in the world. Beyond my surgery recoveries, along the way I mentioned my case of mild but chronic (3-month) vertigo, for which he prescribed an herbal supplement that (I am not kidding) knocked it out in just a few days. (Even he expected it to possibly take several weeks.) Coincidence, you say? I thought so, too. But then, after maybe 10 days, I missed taking them for a few days and the vertigo returned. A few days of faithful dosing later, it was gone again. When my supply ran out and it took a few days to get back in to buy more, the same pattern repeated. I've since been able to reduce my dose significantly (from 8 per day to just 2) and remain symptom-free. Finally, during one of my last visits, I mentioned in passing that I was losing sleep due to repeat hot flashes. One treatment and for the first time in at least a couple of weeks, not a single one. I've had them off and on since, and haven't been back in for another treatment, so the jury's still out... but with my overall success with Stephen's treatments and recommendations, it's sure getting hard to be skeptical. :) I'd been a volunteer receptionist at a non-profit acupuncture clinic that predominately served seniors, and I'd seen regular treatments literally change lives. I knew it worked, but it had never done much for *me*. I couldn't have been more amazed by this experience -- by Stephen's expertise and my results. The exterior of the building housing the office is pretty unsightly, but the interior is not, and the office itself is attractive and peaceful. (The treatment rooms are so relaxing it's hard to leave!) Acupuncture -- and Chinese Medicine in general -- can gently and effectively treat a *staggering* array of symptoms and (most importantly) their root causes, and improve overall wellness and quality of life. If you're on the fence and suffering, do this for yourself. You'll likely come away wishing, like I had, that you'd done it much sooner.

The form reads if red light therapy or cupping is provided l, you are responsible if your insurance doesn't cover it. It does not state and option to check yes or no So it's very deceptive and covert in the agreement form. The accupuncturist never asked me if I wanted it. I gave her a 10.00 tip each time I had a treatment as well.

Michelle has been my naturopath for years, and I can honestly say she's one of the most trusted voices in my health journey. What I appreciate most is that she truly listens. Not the rushed kind of listening you find in so many offices, but the kind where you feel seen, heard, and understood as a whole person -- body, mind, lifestyle, and goals. She helps me make healthy choices that feel realistic and empowering, not overwhelming. Whether we're talking hormones, inflammation, stress, or just navigating this season of life in my 50s, she approaches everything with compassion, curiosity, and deep expertise. Michelle blends science with intuition, and that balance has made all the difference for me. I trust her completely -- not just with my health, but with my long-term wellbeing. She's guided me through changes, challenges, and transitions with grace and steadiness. If you're looking for someone who will partner with you, support you, and help you feel your best at every age, Michelle is exceptional. I'm so grateful for her care and her heart. -- Shelly Valentine

I had to ask them 3 times before they attended to me. People who came after me were attended to before me. This is after canceling my first appointment on Nov 12th just a few hours before the appointment. They just texted me on the morning of the appointment saying my appointment is canceled and I had to call them back twice before I got another appointment and that was more than a month away on Dec 16th. I just saw another review for Dr. Goldsmith that says that she does not show up for appointments and is bad with following up on patients. The reason I went for and the prescription to be sent to my pharmacy was not sent despite calling and letting them know twice. There's no access to the doctor once you are seen. It's also the doctor's responsibility to make sure this is done and it does not seem like they care. After I called and left a message the second time the medical assistant called me and literally shouted at me saying she is done her job and there was an issue with the pharmacy despite me trying to explain that my other doctor sends prescriptions here all the time and I have never had an issue and also the pharmacy going out of their way to check on it. Have never had this kind of experience visiting a doctor's office. People always go out of their way to make the patient comfortable. Will never go back or recommend this clinic to anyone. This is not the way to treat patients who have come to see a doctor for an illness. I never write reviews and never a negative one as I know how hard people work to keep a business running. I had to write this as I don't want any other new patients to undergo this ordeal specially when they are seeking healing for an illness from a qualified doctor's office.

I found Eden Clinic after my car accident because it's close to where I live--and OMG... I wish I…read morehad come here even before the accident. Dr. Jang is AMAZING. The way Dr. Jang evaluates my body and pain is truly unbelievable. He carefully goes over each part of the body--bones, muscles, and areas of tension--to find the root cause of the pain. I asked about it because it felt different from other chiropractic clinics, where they usually just do adjustments (which are still good). Dr. Jang uses a special technique called ART and treats my pain very gently. He explained that the muscles and pain points need to be properly evaluated first before doing any strong adjustments, which made a lot of sense to me. After several treatments, I felt a huge difference in my neck, shoulders, and back--as if the pain was being healed from the core. It's a very gentle but precise approach for deep muscle pain. I can tell that he really monitors my pain points and provides treatment based on my condition and progress, which makes the treatments even more effective. And the massage therapy afterward is truly amazing. I've dealt with pain from past car accidents, so I know how important it is to find good care--that's why I appreciate Eden Clinic so much. Fun fact: they have really advanced X-ray equipment and tools. Dr. Jang even discovered that my right leg is slightly shorter than my left, which may have caused me to lean a bit when standing. This made so much sense because I've always had pain in my right foot when walking or running for a long time. This has helped me a lot, and now I'm planning to use insoles in my shoes--no more pain! If you're looking for real treatment, I highly recommend Eden Clinic. They are lifesavers, and I'm so thankful I found this place.
