Service was pretty good but we went on a busier night and the only spots available (2 seats) were at the bar. They sat us right next to the server station pinned between the bar and a fake tree so we couldn't hardly get in and out of the stools. We asked for sake and they said they literally had 2 bottles, the one we ordered was fine, seemed expensive for how small it was. Food wasn't great, it came out tepid and the side of bok choy was raw. Probably a good spot for a drink and some dancing but eat dinner somewhere else. read more

We had a decent time at Mona Loa, the lounge downstairs is very beautiful. Sean, the bartender was great and the cocktails were delicious. The main issue was with ordering. We never received a portion of our order and though Sean and other staff tried to advocate for us to the kitchen, they were shrugged off. We ended up getting some edamame and a few pieces of sashimi. We ended up having to leave and eat elsewhere. My advice: focus on the drinks and skip the food! Clearly the kitchen is off. read more
