The place is very welcoming and has that old school yet young feel about it. The bar tender knows his job and will make sure you get all the information and advice you need for a proper beer tasting. There is also a game of darts downstairs and a pool table upstairs, everything you need to spend a good night out! The upstairs section can also fit large groups of 10 to 20 people. Definately a place to go when in the beautiful city of Rouen. As far as the beers are concerned, the house advice goes to the kwak, a bitter not that bitter and the deliriun tremens. Drink responsibly still because, those beers are not what you are used to, they usually show a proud 8 or 9 degrees

Mind you, considering that there are a lot of those Tabac pubs scattered about, this one actually isn't all that bad, and is actually reasonably charming. At one stage it was apparently a scottish bar (if there is actually such a place), however it seems as if this is no longer the case, and is now a scandanavian themed bar. It is a little out of the way, which basically means getting does taken a little bit of time, but it is certainly worth it, especially with the river side (sort of, there is a road between the bar and the river) location.

Well, it wasn't actually random because I saw it previously as I walked past and I though the carvings above the door were pretty cool and decided to come back and check it out later. Well, it turns out that this bar happens to be on the top of the list of beer bars on Yelp, and I am not at all surprised (judging by the number of people that had crammed into this place). Delirium goes beyond being a beer bar to being a beer extravaganza - there are a huge number of beers on tap, and if none of them interest you, there are even more bottled behind the bar. In fact there are so many choices that it will literally make your mind spin. I'm not entirely sure if it is actually connected with the Delirium in Belgium (I suspect that it is since I saw another Delerium elsewhere), but it is definitely a pretty decent bar to check out, especially since there didn't seem to be all that much else on offer in the city.
