Decided to stop by before shopping away at tmills and luckily we were there during happy hour! $4.99 lemonade and $2 to make it a double is a pretty good deal. Server was nice and introduced herself promptly, but we had to ask for water. Wasn't too loud inside with a healthy amount of tables occupied. We ordered one of their platters that came with ribs, chicken breast, and BBQ burnt ends. I wasn't expecting too much but all cuts of the meat was surprisingly tender. I normally don't like eating chicken breast, but it was actually not dry at all! We also ordered their mac & cheese. Some might think that the mac & cheese was a bit bland, but I actually prefer that because it feels less heavy. Cheese taste was pretty 1-dimentional but it does the job. Portions were a bit small for the price though, but that's probably because of shrinkflation. It wouldn't be my first choice when I'm at T-mills, but I would not mind going back!!

Montana's BBQ & Bar - Tsawwassen Mills 5000 Canoe Pass Way,…read moreUnit R1, Delta, BC V4M 0B3 Located at Tsawwassen Mills, Montana's BBQ & Bar delivers a rustic, family-friendly dining experience with a focus on hearty comfort food and flame-grilled classics. The restaurant offers a welcoming atmosphere and a menu built around bold, familiar flavours. Food Tomato Basil Soup A classic starter that, unfortunately, didn't leave a strong impression. While the consistency was decent and the seasoning passable, the overall flavour felt flat and lacked depth. A serviceable option, but not one I'd return for. Rating: 6/10 Four Cheese Spinach Dip A standout dish featuring a rich blend of four cheeses, spinach, onions, red peppers, and spices. Served with warm pita wedges and nacho chips, this dip was creamy, indulgent, and full of flavour. One of the highlights of the meal -- highly recommended for sharing or as a hearty appetizer. Rating: 9/10 10 oz Sirloin with Onion Rings and Fries The sirloin was grilled to a perfect rare as requested -- juicy, well-seasoned, and nicely charred. It showcased good quality and kitchen precision. The sides, however, were less remarkable. The fries and onion rings were standard and lacked crispness or distinction. Still, the steak made the dish worthwhile. Rating: 8/10 Service Service was warm, friendly, and attentive throughout the meal. Staff were accommodating and made us feel welcome, offering menu suggestions and timely check-ins. Rating: 8/10 Ambiance The interior is clean, spacious, and relaxed -- classic Montana's with its rustic décor and casual charm. It's a comfortable environment for both families and casual diners. Rating: 8/10 Price Pricing is fair for the portion sizes and quality, particularly for the steak and appetizer. While some items felt average, the overall value was reasonable. Verdict Montana's BBQ & Bar at Tsawwassen Mills offers a solid and satisfying dining experience. While the tomato basil soup and side dishes were average, the perfectly cooked sirloin and rich, flavorful spinach dip more than made up for it. Combined with friendly service and a clean, comfortable setting, it's a dependable choice for casual dining with classic flavours done right.

There was nothing that resembled a strawberry crêpe and the it taste like a biscuit. The crêpe batter is so dry. It's a cracked product on my plate. They give you so little strawberry filling. If they gave you some strawberry sauce, it might've covered up the dry batter that they're trying to sell. The only saving grace is the whipping cream, which comes out of a prepackaged squish bag onto the dry crepe. The worker cooked this while serving other customers at the cash register and I saw her handling cash while touching my crepe with the same glove. This place would not pass food inspection.

I have always been buying from them and so far services has always been awesome, crepes and gelato ice cream are graciously given. Their was a time I even customize my crepe and just add a little amount to the original price, I believe that was the peanut butter crepe and I wanted to add some banana on it. The New York cheese cake crepe is really good, lots of stuffs added on it, and love how you can see it cooked and assembled. The lady who mostly is in the shop deserves a thumbs up, she does make the food neat and tidy. I also like the idea of tasting the gelato before ordering as well as mostly are flavoursome and kinda guilt free ice cream. The price is reasonable for the good food quality.

From start to finish--ticket purchase, boarding, departure, and arrival--the whole experience was seamless and well organized. The ferry itself is spacious with plenty of seating, both indoor and outdoor areas, so it never felt cramped. There's room to walk around, relax, enjoy the views, grab a bite to eat, and even browse a small gift shop. It felt more like part of the journey than just transportation. Food options onboard were okay--nothing memorable, but decent enough if you need something during the crossing. Overall, a comfortable, stress-free way to travel and a great start to a Victoria Island getaway.

Review #2 for 2026…read more We used the ferry to take a day trip to Victoria while in Vancouver. The ferry is big! You can even drive your own car on the ferry! There is plenty of seating!! No need to rush on board to be one of the first ones seated. Unless you plan on sleeping the entire trip, you will most likely be changing seats at some point. We sure did! We went to different places to get different views. There is both inside and outside seating. Sitting outside can get very cold and windy depending on the season. We went during mid-May and it was very cold and windy outside. Only went out for a little bit to look around and take pictures. They have a cafe inside and the prices are actually pretty decent. Food is premade, so I do not think you can customize very much. They just scoop it like at a cafeteria. The ferry itself is very affordable. I think it converted to about $25 round trip per person for the ferry. If you bring a car, it believe it does cost significantly more. If you get there early, like we did, you can also ask to board an earlier ferry as to not wait around. We were not thinking properly and refused to pay the few bucks to get on the earlier ferry and instead waited around for about an hour. They also tell you to get there and check in an hour before your ferry. Trust me, that is not necessary. There was other people who go there early like we did and we had to wait in the check in area. You were not allowed to go past the entrance to the inside waiting area until it was close to boarding time, like 15 minutes before. The inside waiting area has bathrooms and a store like cafe with snacks and coffee. After waiting, we regretted not paying the extra few bucks to just board on an earlier ferry so we could get going and have more time in Victoria! The trip takes about 1.5 hours each way. I do not know how much parking is here as we took an uber (expensive ~$90 EACH way) from downtown Vancouver. Know that this place is pretty far from downtown Vancouver and takes nearly an hour to get to!! They also have public transit that comes here for a fraction of the cost, but we had a group and a 14 month old so we did not want to navigate public transit and deal with transfers to get here. However, once you get to Victoria, there is a public bus you can take for a few dollars that will take you directly downtown and is way cheaper than a $60 uber ride. It will take about 45 minutes from the ferry station to downtown Victoria when you arrive. Next time we will rent our own car in Vancouver, ubers are expensive in Vancouver. Anyways, the ferry ride itself is pretty smooth. I have read that some people spotted whales, but there were no whales spotted during our ferry ride. Would I go on this ferry again? Yes! I plan on coming back to Vancouver in the future and I do plan on going back to Victoria as we did not have enough time to explore the island. I think the ferry is the only way to get here unless you arrive by certain cruise ships that stop in Victoria. However, the ferry is a very affordable way to get to Victoria. It is also very easy to navigate. It is just far from downtown Vancouver.
