They used my money (Over six figures) for this time and paid me no interest. They said it was policy. They did not even send the check in certified mail, that would cost too much and they did not have the staff. They made no effort to contact me or notify me that my check would be delayed this long. I had to contact them. Imagine if I had "Their six figure $)" for 14 days, they would be demanding interest for sure. This is the most unprofessional and greedy organization I have worked with in my over 30 year career. I would not recommend them to my worst enemy. We ended up paying close to $50,000 - you read that correctly - for one year of accounting (yes this included bookkeeping and 5 tax returns) alone. We thought there had been an error or had been double charged. But apparently what happens is someone lower down the chain of command does the accounting, and then someone higher up double checks for errors - so you basically end up being charged twice. It was our fault for not noticing earlier - but also they are not transparent about what they're billing for in terms of hours. Our previous accountants billed us to the minute. Eide Beilly~ We would just get bills for thousands of dollars and sometimes tens of thousands. Needless to say once we actually started doing the math and were told no it wasn't an error, we very quickly left the firm. We liked one of our accountants Lindsey Myron but the firm itself is astronomically pricey. Run for the hills.
