This isn't a review that someone is happy to write... however, when you receive such a positive…read moreexperience, you feel it necessary to share this. Some years ago, my Dad passed away. We found out he had made his final arrangements through Mr. Albrecht. We were so comforted by this man, that it certainly helped us through this difficult time. He was understating and worked within our finances. Sadly, this previous month, our Mom joined our Dad. Once again, we went to Mr Albrecht. As before, he is a true gentleman and very empathetic during this difficult time. He ensured that we... and our guests genuinely felt comforted and provided with a level of compassion and positivity you don't usually feel at this time. We feel blessed having dealt with him and thank him again for his support. Sincerely The Brass Family

Having never gone through this process before, I was overwhelmed and unsure where to start, but James guided us through every step with compassion and professionalism. He was patient, understanding, and made sure we felt supported the entire way. I was especially anxious about how my loved one would look, but James did an absolutely beautiful job. Everything was handled with such dignity and respect. The funeral home itself is warm and welcoming, with beautiful grounds filled with flowers and even tasteful seasonal decorations that brought a small bit of comfort. Several of our friends commented afterward on how everything was arranged so perfectly. One even said, "I don't know if this is a weird thing to say, but you guys always plan the best events, and even though this was a sad one, it was perfect." That's truly a testament to James and the entire team at Albrecht, Bruno & O'Shea. They made a very hard day a little bit easier, and for that, I'm deeply thankful.

From the moment I met with the staff in March 2023 up until my Father's memorial service, the level of customer service and professionalism exceeded my expectations. I reside in Georgia and found Rose's Funeral Home via a Google search. I had several apprehensions initially because I reside out of state so, I was extremely nervous with how everything would turn out. Well, Ms. Rose and the team calmed all of my doubt. Ms. Rose is very personable and truly cares, which is an attribute many people lack in this line of business. Moreover, the staff is patient and willing to go above and beyond to ensure that you are well pleased. We will FOREVER be a supporter of Rose's Funeral Home. Ms. Rose, thank you again for your support and for ensuring the process was seamless while providing the space for us to grieve.

They did a wonderful job preparing my father as he looked just as he did in life. They went through the trouble of dyeing his hair and honoring all our requests. Jim helped me track down my priest from my hometown church to do a service at the funeral home, which was a huge comfort. Moloney helped my father get buried with military honors that he had requested. Nick helped us the entire day at the actual burial, and he could not have been more courteous and a gentleman. He was truly moved and honored to be helping us. What a terrific person. The room my father was in was large and comfortable. Mariana helped us throughout the whole process. Funerals are never easy, and they are not cheap, but you can trust the staff at Moloney's in Hauppauge to take care of things during a very very stressful time. Just ask for Jim, Mariana, and of course Nicholas!

I cannot say enough about this funeral home and the staff and Director (and even the dog Jake). To…read moresay a funeral was beautiful seems a little morbid and inappropriate. but, that's exactly how I can describe my father's wake at Jacobson funeral home in Huntington. They went above and beyond in every little detail From the minute we walked in and met with them. They were comforting, professional, and absolutely amazing. even the little small touch with them standing at the door as we exited for the funeral progression to the cemetery- they offered a plaque for each car that said funeral and travel tissue packages. I've never seen that done before at a funeral. they truly care about the deceased and the family! Even if you do not live in the immediate area, I would highly recommend considering Jacobson funeral home. With love the family of Robert Peckham

Chris is likely to have attended to thousands of funerals, but there was no sense that this was 'same-old, same-old' with him. He was so in tune with where the family was emotionally, and was able to adjust accordingly. He was such a calming, helpful presence throughout. He has the wisdom of knowing that people's faculties are compromised at a time like this and guided us gently through each part of the process at just the right time, never invasive, checking in on what might be needed and offering just the right amount of guidance and preparation. Likewise, every inch of the funeral home and their chapels have been designed to make you feel the warmth, serenity and dignity you would wish for at such a time: The decor is elegant but homey; the background music is peaceful and settling; the fish pond and fountain in the reception area adds a natural, calming element, and of course, there's Jake. Jake (Chris's shadow) is a young, highly trained labradoodle who is the resident support dog, gently walking around, offering himself to anyone he senses may need him. He is a special soul and he loves his work. I don't think the process could have gone more smoothly. The chapel was beautifully set up and my mother-in-law looked so naturally elegant and peaceful at her wake in the chapel. They did an incredible job. They created a beautiful digital slideshow from all our photos and set up our photo boards and flowers magnificently. After the service, they packed up everything from the chapel and stored it for us carefully until we could collect it at our convenience. Nothing seemed too much for them as long as they could help make this process as easy and meaningful as possible for us. One final aspect worth mentioning: The funeral home allowed us to arrange a lot upfront, before my mother-in-law passed, which similar business services do not always allow. Once someone has passed, emotions are so high that it's really hard to concentrate on small details, which is required to plan accordingly. Being able to plan this all upfront was incredibly helpful.
