The office is beautifully decorated and the staff are all very friendly and accommodating. I cannot say enough great things about my hygienist, Amy. She was unbelievably thorough and would talk me through everything and always do everything to ensure that I was comfortable. Unfortunately I'm no longer a patient at Levy Dental Group, but that's only because I moved back to Philadelphia. If my new home wasn't 3+ hours away, you better believe I'd be making the trip because a dental office as great at Levy is hard to come by.

The dentists and their staff are wonderful caring people who do exemplary work. Over the years I have had much dental work done. I would recommend this group wholeheartedly. I put my complete trust in these competent professionals from the dentists to the hygienists to the assistants to the front desk staff. I can honestly say I am proud to smile because of the beautiful work they have done. Paul O.

Shortly after, I experienced severe cold sensitivity and pain when chewing. I returned twice between July and October and was only told the tooth needed filing and to try Sensodyne - no further evaluation was done. I eventually sought a second opinion, where X-rays showed the filling was not sealed properly and decay had not been fully removed. The filling had to be redone, and I later needed an emergency root canal after my bottom molar died and caused a systemic infection. I will now also need a root canal on the top molar. Neither tooth caused issues before the original fillings. I've been a patient here since childhood, but this experience has cost me over $4,000 and months of pain. I do not trust the quality of care and cannot recommend this office.

My experience with their practice was disappointing. The office works are very nice and easy to…read morework with. But the dentist was to me misleading when it came to the costs. First I was told the full mouth X rays are covered by my insurance (they were not). Then the estimate for the root canal and how the amount the insurance would cover was wrong. Then the extraction costs were higher due to difficulty, which it did not seem to be. Finally I paid the bill at the end and put it behind me. Now one year later I receive a text that I owe another $540 and will be sent to collection if not paid. When I asked the reason for the additional cost the answer was not satisfactory. The best part about it all, is the tooth feels loose and I don't feel comfortable using that side. If you know a good dentist please tell me.

My dentist died earlier this year and his office sent my dental records to Carlone Family Dental…read more The first red flag for me was the inability to call and speak to someone in the office. Starting about five months ago, I called and, as instructed by the voicemail, left a message. I did this three times over a number of months and never received a return call. Finally on the fourth attempt I was able to get through. I made an appointment and was seen by Dr. Carlone's daughter, Mia. She was very friendly and pleasant. Unfortunately, she botched the simple re-cementing of the crown for which I was being seen. She did not remove the existing cement from inside the crown before re-attaching it; therefore, the tooth had a higher profile and caused a misalignment in my bite (all other top and bottom teeth in my mouth were unable to touch after she finished). She tried filing down both the crown and the tooth below it to remedy this issue without success. Then she told me the crowned tooth had likely "migrated" and the problem could go away over time. The (qualified) dentist I found immediately was taken aback by this treatment, as well as by the tooth migration excuse (not possible in three days, he said). And now, because he had to destroy the crown in order to restore my proper bite, I have an additional expense.
