I came to Dr. Moellendorf about 5 years ago. I had wrenched out my back Tilling the garden in spring. I stayed under his program for several months as suggested and then just because I was no longer in pain and very busy....mistakenly got off of my regular regimen. I came back to Dr. Moellendorf 5 months later after taking a flight on a discount airline - where I was subjected to the constant vibration of a seat directly over the planes engine. Upon arriving at my destination - I could walk painfully if in a stiffened upright position. When I arrived back home - I immediately called Dr. Moellendorf and after 2 sessions, he had me in comfortable shape. I never again left my monthly visitation practice with him until I received my job transfer a couple of months ago....boy do I miss him! I had somehow injured my back and went to an M.D. He told me I needed surgery and that no responsible chiropractor would touch me. I knew people that liked Dr. Moellendorf so went anyhow, thinking a second opinion wouldn't hurt. When I went to Dr. Moellendorf I was in such back pain that I couldn't stand upright. It probably took me at least 30 minutes to get out of bed and get dressed in the morning. Dr. Moellendorf said that if I would allow him the chance, he believed he could help me. He said I was in worse shape than nearly any patient he had treated. One of the things I have never liked about Chiropractors is the quick snap or jerk of bones back into alignment; Dr. Moellendorf doesn't do this. He has an instrument that operates by air pressure and gently but thoroughly moves your spine back into alignment with no pain to the patient. We started treatment and he worked on me seven days a week. Within a few days the pain began to subside. Withing 10 days I could function. Within about three weeks I was totally pain free. The man is a miracle worker as far as I'm concerned. I have no problem in recommending him to friends for treatment of maladies from headache to back pain. About 13 years ago, I suffered from excruciating and often immobilizing lower back pain. I had back pain for years. I worked at a hardware store and customers would come in, see my pain, and tell me to go see Dr Moellendorf. I had a MRI on my back and was told that I wasn't in any pain because there was nothing wrong with my back. Finally, reluctantly, after 3 straight nights of no sleep because of the pain, I called. I wish I would have done that right away. That was 4 years ago. My back feels great! Dr. Moellendorf does an excellent job of finding the problem and fixing it. It takes time to correct all the years of abuse our backs have taken, it can't be fixed overnight. It is definately worth it! When I moved here 10 years ago, I thought, "well, I have to find a good chiropractor again." And I did, Dr. Moellendorf. I'm always doing something to my neck or back. I go right in and the Dr. fixes me right up in no time at all. Sometimes I have really bad headaches and dizziness and he can fix that problem too.
