I was looking for a job and Spherion contacted me. However, when I arrived they didn't have my…read moreinformation ready and they offered me a job that required certification which I didn't have. They than contacted me again a week later and when I stopped in it was for the same job. Spherion contacts you based on mailing lists, I suspect, and they don't really do their homework before making their decisions. If you really need a job than go ahead and use them but make sure to ask a lot of questions when your with them. Otherwise you'll either waste your time or end up signing on to something you don't really understand.

While speaking with this troll, he berated the current employees, told me several woman have applied which he won't hire because of the warehouse aspects, and made more daunting conversation of the unfortunate acts of hate demonstrated in Charleston, SC than what would be expected of the job. All during the interview, which he told me he wasn't expecting anyone, and gave little mention of what the actual job requisite would be. With hiring managers like that, who needs bad employees. This company may have a lot to learn discrimination in the hiring process and what should be kept to oneself to avoid liability. "I'm not a chauvinist but I wouldn't hire a woman for this job, I'm a gentleman and this work can be rough." By the way I'm black with a bachelor's degree in business administration. Needless to say I ran out of there like a bat out of hell and advised Express Personnel their services are no longer warranted and to remove me.
