I was bummed when I found out he was moving away to Kansa City but the people there have gained a great artist. Rich did my first tattoo and to this day he is the only artist I go to. Rich does amazing traditional tattoos with bold clean lines and great color schemes. His designs are unique and I have a great amount of confidence in them. Whenever I want to get tattooed now I tell him what two or three things I am looking for and let him do his thing, the trust I place in him is worth it. Got a black tattoo on my left upper arm. Was my first tattoo at 62 years old. The design was a…read morespiky scorpion I found on the net. I made some adjustments to the fangs from the original and brought a printout to my appointment. The gal who did the tattoo copied it straight to a stencil and put it on my arm. The tattoo went fine, though there were constant interruptions due to her double-booking my appointment (I had to wait a couple of months to get to see her. After the tattoo was done, I was given about 1 minute to look at it in a mirror and then sent home. I paid 175 plus a 25 dollar tip for the tattoo. After the healing was mostly over, I noticed that the fangs I had been careful to change were not what she tattooed. The fangs I got were two different sizes and wonky-looking. So, I did some adjustments in a paint program and asked her if you could fix what was wrong. She told me what I wanted done didn't count as a touch-up and I would have to pay again. She then said what she tattooed was what I gave her, and I had been happy with it when she was done. As can be seen in the photos below, the tattoo does not match up with the design. And all I was asking for was evening up the finished product. The size of the alteration is less than a postage stamp. And it wouldn't take more than 1 minute to do. Unfortunately, she insisted it counted as a whole new tattoo, and I would have to pay accordingly. I made a comment about her not being able to stay within the lines and ended the conversation. I had planned a large colored mural on my right arm depicting my stay in Guatemala when I was a child. I am imagining it would have cost me 500 dollars, if not more. Needless to say, I will not be going back to the zone to get that done.

Once I got there for my appointment, I was in awe of the interior decor as well, which was really nicely decorated and had a very cool indoor plant garden, of sorts. I was greeted very professionally, and then was shown all the options available for my dermal piercing, which was fantastic! I didn't realize I would be given such a massive selection to choose from, which got me really giggity lol. It took me a few minutes, but I made my selection and then proceeded to wait in the lobby until I was called. It was there that I became more in awe- especially after seeing his pressed penny machine. I have literally never walked by a pressed penny machine without choosing to partake, so that was RAAAAD! Now, I don't want to think about my age hahaaa but it's been at least 20 years since my last piercing. Clay was VERY thorough in letting me know all the details about THIS type of piercing, which I didn't previously know. Apparently- dermals WILL eventually work their way out, which didn't make me change my mind- but can certainly sway others against it. He stressed that it was only a matter of time, but I am grateful for knowing this so I don't need to freak tf out when the time comes hahaaa. Aside from that- this dude had an amazing personality-very caring and communicated well all thru the process. I don't plan on ever going anywhere else for a piercing or body jewelry, as I am HOOKED!

When I entered, I was greeted warmly by the staff and asked what I needed assistance with. I told them I would like a tattoo and asked for pricing. They gave me a fair price and I was assigned someone to get that piece of work done. The individual assigned to me was very nice and respectful. They were very skilled in their craft and I appreciated the friendliness of the associate. It made my experience a lot better, and it slightly took away from the pain of getting the tattoo (they never get easier). Overall, I'm very impressed with the service of the staff and the tattoo.
