I was in contact with them on any changes and everything was set for 9:00 on Tuesday morning. Truck came in on a Monday afternoon and arrived at 9:00 Tuesday. But no Junk Hunks. I received a message that they would be there between 11 and 12:45. And I told them we needed to start and to call me before coming to see if we still needed them. We of course my son unloaded the whole truck by himself. I believe I should have received an apology and my deposit back. Not a happy customer and I will never use them again or suggest anyone use them. ​

Don't get tricked!…read more I requested Junk King to come out to clear out a storage unit that I had won in an auction. When I was requesting, I was told that I would be given a quote at the beginning of the job. When they arrived, the first guy who got out of the truck took a look at the unit and said they could do it for the cost of half a load. Then the other guy got out and said 3/4 to full load but most likely 3/4 and that they would do their best to get it to be as small of a load as possible. I should have known better. They worked to make the truck look as full as possible. The unit had vacuum tubes that could be used to make the load look a lot fuller than it was and that's exactly what they did. The 2nd guy told the first guy that they would load the vacuum tubes last. I didn't understand why at first but then later I did. The unit had rolls of carpet that were heavy and could have compressed anything lighter (like the tubes) from the unit if they had been put on top. They worked to make sure that was not the case - putting the carpet in first and then the lighter stuff on top to make the truck look fuller. When I left a review on Google explaining that I felt tricked, the owner called and left me a message offering a refund if I took down the review. I called him back and left a message telling him that if he agreed to change his business practices and gave a refund for how they tricked me, I would take the review down. He apparently couldn't do that and instead decided to not give a refund or change his business practices. Sad. If you must use Junk King, don't use Rock Hill Junk King and if you must use them, make sure you get an exact quote and that they load the truck efficiently. If I were you, I'd avoid altogether!

My overall experience with AMS was unprofessional and disappointing. The price they originally…read morequoted me $217/hr was not honored and it was too late for me to find another service as it was right before the move date. When I raised concerns about my broken kitchen table, a crew member dismissed the issue by suggesting it was poorly assembled and would have broken eventually. When I reported wall damage and other issues to both the crew supervisor and Customer Care, I was simply told to file a claim without further assistance or accountability. As a result of this move: My kitchen table is unusable My son's dresser is damaged beyond use My home, which I am currently preparing to sell, now requires repairs due to wall damage I had to hire an additional moving service to move items your crew refused to move due to lack of proper equipment. To repair and replace the damaged items with something of comparable quality it will cost me almost $4,600. They only offered me $830, yes you see that correctly, $830 for all of the items damaged. I would not recommned them to anyone.

They stole over $10,000 of custom-made shoes from my family that were boxed up and taped!!! They took over two hours to get to the new house with the moving truck! They obviously stopped, went through things and stole this box of the most value!!! And then to top it off, they were given each $100 tip, not knowing that they had already stolen until a week later when my family was unpacking!!!! The company was called and alerted of this theft, and they were not willing to do anything!!!!!! If you hire them Which I would highly discourage!!!! Make sure you don't take your eye off the moving truck as it's leaving the old house to the new house!!! And take pictures of all your boxes and make sure you have proof so if they do steal, you are covered!!! This crappy company is a disgrace to the community when it comes to integrity and honesty believe it's Hot handed thief movers over its customers!!!!!
