Quick Movers Now - DO NOT USE…read more The movers arrived on time, took about 15 minutes to start after finishing up paperwork. Once the movers started the job, we realized they came with no tools, no dolly, nothing. All they had was plastic wrap and furniture coverings in which they still managed to BREAK a desk!!! The desk legs broke the screws still in the table. Movers instructed a claim must be filed. Moving on with this terrible service, the move was for a one bedroom apt, with 10-15 boxes, a bedroom set that needed to be disassembled to another 1 bedroom apt that was 15 minutes away. The movers moved extremely SLOW contrary the company name, "Quick Movers." The couch in the apartment was going to the dump but the movers asked could they keep the couch. No problem, except the movers moved the couch on the truck for what we thought would be dropped off after the job was done. When they finished loading the truck with the apartment items, the movers left and dropped off the couch to their destination and then met us at the apartment, it took them 1 hour to get to the new apartment. UNACCEPTABLE to do errands while in the job. Moving forward, the movers did not have any equipment! No dollies so the movers were moving boxes one by one. A 3-4 hour job took 7 hours. They somehow found a dolly at the last hour, and sped the trip up. Customer service is terrible. DANA the office manager decided to disrespect, belittle and antagonize the customer for complaining about the poor service and terrible job done. She also defended the movers unacceptable behavior. Terrible customer service, Dana. As people of color, we need to do better if we are going to support black businesses. Very unsatisfied, would never recommend this company. We will be speaking to the real manager on Monday. DO NOT USE QUICK MOVERS!!!
