Brunelle is the name of a plant from lavender family in latin. You have a chance to have a meal identify with its name in a green environment when the spring comes. Erkan Bey, one of the owners of the venue, is an academician at the same time. He was making live music when you having your meal in every Thursday and Friday during last winter. He was trying to make your meal more enjoyable. It is hard to find a free table without reservation. He chose every meal carefully add the menu with the experience of years. He has made a menu with the inspiration of making delicious foods. This menu is different from many venues offering industrial kitchen. I tasted french onion soup au gratine with gruyere cheese. Homemade agnolotti with cheese (with spinach and pine kernel cream sauce) and sea bass wrapped in baklava dough. Every plate was different in respect of taste. I liked the most the agnolotti from them. The pine kernel sauce pulled its taste much higher. Do not leave here without eating a dessert. I ate chestnut souffle and sesame topping it. This dessert was very successful and pleased to eat. It was a successful venue in respect of price-performance. It is ideal for special meals. There was an extra discount for Saint Joseph graduates. #KanGurular

When I arrived there was only one other customer inside. The restaurant decor was cute and I very comfortable. The staff were friendly and welcoming. This spot was a bit pricey just like most of the restaurants in this touristy area. I had certain Turkish entrees i wanted to try during my vacation. I ordered the Iskender kebab which is beef and pita bread covered with tomato sauce with yogurt on the side. I ordered a side salad to go with it. The dish was very delicious as you can tell in one of my pics. I chatted with some of the staff about life in Istanbul. I was offered some complimentary pomegranate tea before I left and it hit the spot. This is definitely a place to check out when you're in the area.

I had some of THEE BEST chicken kebab I've ever had in this country here. The beef kebab was also tender and flavorful. You cannot go wrong with any of these! The service was quick and prompt, and the servers were great at making recommendations. I came here in the winter so we sat indoors which felt a bit cramped however, there is also outdoor seating during the nicer weather months. If I'm ever back here in Istanbul, I would definitely come back. And if you're reading this, you NEED to try the Old Ottoman!
