    Lost neon beer sign during repair. Wish I could give -100…read morestars! Brought a large, vintage neon beer sign to Nu-Glo for Repair on 7/18/23. Was told they outsourced those repairs and it would take awhile, I was in no hurry. Followed up after a few months asking for an update, was advised no word yet. Called again in January, 2024, was advised the same. Followed up again via text on March 4th 2024 receiving a one word response of, "nothing." Finally visited in person on 8/5/23 speaking to one of John's employees. John followed up by text, asking for pictures of the sign. I sent a picture and my receipt, I received no response. Called 8/6/24 asking for my sign back or to be reimbursed for the sign. Also sent a text requesting an up date. John then responded by text with insults, foul language and threats of legal action for harassment if I came to his business in person again. Thinking he had me confused with someone else, I did not return his insults, stating I had checked several times for updates and just wanted my sign back. He responded with additional insults and threats. I still don't have my sign back. By far, The worst experience I have ever had with a business! Beware of doing business with Nu-glo Sign Company!

    Please consider this before hiring. I, as a small business owner, don't take leaving this review…read morelightly. A little bit of background on me: I am a solo small business, so is my graphic designer, meaning anything that needs to be done for our businesses falls on our shoulders to do and complete. The timing for these interactions falls over major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years), very busy times for small business owners. At first everything was going fine. I notice early on John liked to repeat himself excessively. I also noticed that he liked to send multiples of text messages, email and phone calls all at the same time. The day he came out to inspect the site, look over the plan and take measurements I let him know that I was not in a hurry to complete this project and that I still needed to run electric to the front of the building to power the sign. He seemed to under that. Eventually I had to tell him due to receiving multiple emails, messages and phone calls, all reminding me that I haven't sent the right files over "Correct. I haven't sent them yet. I'm still waiting for them. Thank you. I will send them over when I get them." 2 days later receiving another reminder from him "Still need your artwork" I responded "yes. I am aware. You are being quite pushy and I am not liking it. At all. Please give me enough time to get those to you." These interactions took place days before Thanksgiving. I finally receive files from my graphic designer Jan 10th, I sent the files over to John right away. He let me know that the files were not in the correct format. Ok we will try again. Since Jan 10th I have received 3 reminders from him that I haven't sent over the correct format. I heard you the first time. Again I'm waiting on my graphic designer. Out of no where Jan 22nd I received the following messages "you don't listen good luck getting a quote. I'm not quoting people that don't listen" I let him know that I am no longer interested in working with him. His response: "Good go fuck you... no need for idiots... you probably won't pay anyways... you procrastinate... I stay on top of things and get things done.." I have asked to not push or rush me with this project, I have made it clear that I don't appreciate bombardment. Then unprovoked you tell me to go fuck myself, call me an idiot and procrastinator. I never asked for a deal or discount for this service so I'm not sure where the accusation of not paying comes from. I was preparing myself to pay you several hundreds of dollars and all I asked was to not be rushed... How you have been in business for 45 years and treat customers this way is baffling to me. In no way, shape or form do I deserve to be talked to like that.
