The restaurant is over two floors and both areas are nice, with big glass windows so you can watch the comings and goings outside. Food is traditional tapas, and is of great quality. Especially good for sharing with groups of friends - although make sure you order lots! The service has always been friendly and I like that you keep getting little plates of food all evening and you can add more to your order as the evening goes on. There is a reasonable priced wine list although the sangria is really nice. Lovely Spanish food in a great atmosphere.

The food menu takes influences from all around the world and offers a variety of dishes like curries, sushi, noodle bowls, fish & chips, homemade burgers, soups, and so on, with its main influences taken from far-eastern/middle-eastern cuisine. They also do large platters to take away for corporate functions or parties - although these are quite expensive. They do a variety of sandwiches which they make fresh in front of you, this is good as it allows you to see which produce does not look great! Be aware that during the week at lunchtime the place is overrun by kids from the local schools and queues have been out of the door on many occasions! The prices are average but watch out for the sub of the day deal and coupons in the paper. The staff are not the friendliest and can often get your order wrong. There is plenty of free parking in the area.

The toilets were not very nice in this establishment, with one toilet for all guests with just a heavy sliding door to open and close and a tap which was so stiff to turn on it was almost impossible.

In all honesty, i just don't have the stomach capacity to fully take advantage of this place, i didn't even get through all of the meat i paid for on the second visit. I paid for the £11 lunch menu, which seemed quite good value, though drinks are quite expensive in here. The staff were all incredibly polite and helpful, i did notice that all of them looked to thin to be eating in here all the time. If you like shoveling loads of food into your gullet, like some sort of mad king at a feast, then this might be the place for you.

If you walk right through Somebody Cares you will get to the building which the Thai cafe is in. So on entering they have the menu is displayed. In addition to the Thai food there are cakes, coffee and crisps. We ordered spring rolls (7 for £5 on this day, special offer) and I had Panyang Chicken (I think I've spelled that wrong) with rice. One friend had the combo (which was Panyang chicken and some pork with garlic - so 2 mains!) and the other had Tom yum with rice. You pay at the counter and they bring the food out. Which is great as you can leave when finished. For 3 mains, spring rolls, extra carrot salad and 3 drinks it cost £34. Good price. The food was amazing. I wanted more but restrained myself. We all loved it! I swear every time I'm in Aberdeen I'm going here. They also had a high chair for my friends wee boy. Staff really nice too. Odd location but amazing when you get there :)

The service wasn't as attentive as it could have been (plenty of staff around, apparently waiting for the bulk of the guests to arrive), but adequate. The decor is a bit odd: in a town that is smack full of granite and maybe other rock on the streets, in buildings, and so on, this one had some sort of granite-rock-patterned wall paper. Not exactly tacky, but not as classy as it could have been. And what is up with one nice napkin made of fabric and one paper napkin? (Maybe the latter is for blowing your nose?) Anyway, the food was so nice that they get four stars but there is room for improvement in the details.
