No one has ever had an issue with checking her in that way. She goes today on her lunch break and asks to be checked in manually and the guys says "what's wrong with your app?" And she said "nothing, I just don't have a phone right so I've been checking in manually" and he said that club4 "doesn't allow that" and you are 'required' to have the app to scan the barcode. Said she will only be able to check in manually a hand full of times and after that she will "have to get her phone fixed." I'm sorry.....are you going to pay to fix the phone? This is pathetic. After seeing the other reviews of this location I'm not surprised. We called the Schillinger location and spoke with a manager to ask if this was a thing and he said that she can check in however she wants to and does not need the app. Said he has never heard of 'only being able to check in manually a hand full of times' and that he guy was making it up. The staff here need to be trained correctly apparently. Update: she went back again yesterday. The same guy 'Jeff' was upfront and she tried to check in and he said "why do we continue to do this with you again?" And she said "can you just check me in please?" And he said "yea that's not how this works." So she left and he said "have a good night"

They are also open late evenings. Health Action has a NEW extended exercise location just South of Walmart on the East side of Hwy 43 in the strip mall near Diamond Nails. Health Action has many things going on within their main location downtown Jackson, AL ...bodybuilding, weight maintenance, physical therapy, silver sneakers...just to name a few. Another thing it's always clean and the people are friendly. I haven't had to go there for therapy as being sent by the doctor but I go there just to exercise which helps my body a lot in the areas that I need help...in my back, my knees, my ankles, and my shoulders just to name a few...all the problems that I have the exercise there has helped me a lot and I'd recommend the place.
