Boy am I glad they flaked and that I ended up with the DME Shoppe - for it was a blessing in disguise. It may have taken a year from start to finish to get my motorized wheelchair approved by insurance, but it wouldn't have happened without the amazing people at the DME Shoppe. From the beginning they walked me through each step, helping to coordinate Dr's, Orders, Evaluations, Insurance and everything in between. They were kind, patient, caring, understanding, flexible, great at communication and went out of their way to make sure I got the device that I truly needed to be able to function, doing the hard work of negotiating with insurance and winning. The staff even chipped in and made sure I got an accessory that was critical to my functionality that insurance wouldn't cover, they also worked with the manufacturer and it made ALL the difference. I didn't know I had a choice when this process began and now I know that we can choose who to do business with and I wouldn't chose anyone else. If it wasn't for the good people at the DME Shoppe, I wouldn't have been able to take my 16 year old furchild (dog) Vienna on adventures around the neighborhood in my wheelchair for the last month of her life, and for that gift I will be FOREVER GRATEFUL. This chair has changed my life for the better. I didn't realize how much of an improvement in my quality of life this chair could give me back, on good days I am able to use Para-Transit and go to the grocery store or to a Dr's appt by myself and on bad days I'm able to get to the bathroom instead of having to use a bedpan. Highly recommend Scooters Plus, a thirty year locally owned business. The owner Tom was extremely…read morefriendly, sympathetic, and responsive. Couple that with his extensive knowledge and that results in minimum downtown for your mobility device. While in his shop, he made on the spot repairs and repaired our charging device for free. He found a set of keys when ours were missing and provided the keys at no cost. I'm not recommending Tom or Scooters Plus because of the free services, but because Tom is a decent human being with a work ethic and attention to detail rare in today's world. This is an on-going theft, perpetrated by this company and praying on people who are in the dark about how they are able to easily steal from consumers. I hope our lesson will help you. Stay away Royal Auction Group is an auto-auction house. They sell used cars, trucks etc. My son who just turned 16 has been saving and working to buy his first car, which as I am sure you remember is a big milestone. We had been looking at Royal Auction Group as a resource and he had saved a 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo with 107k miles as a potential car to purchase. We won a vehicle and I tried to get more information on the car and their stock answer is " we are not mechanics, we can't tell you." We got the VIN, ran a CarFax, even contacted the dealership where the vehicle had been maintained and from all that we could tell, this was a well maintained vehicle, with over $3000 worth of work being done on it as recently as Sept 2024. So I decided to fly down, pick up the vehicle and drive it back. The description said "SOME ENGINE NOISE" but this is where Royal Auction Group is playing in the gray and using a strictly Florida nomenclature to steal.... Some engine noise.... they are leaving out the part that discloses "because the car was submerged in water and has complete engine failure." I was able to start the vehicle with a jump, but as I drove the 3 miles to the mechanic who was going to tune it up and ready me for my trip, the car filled with smoke, all the electronics failed, the speedometer ceased to function and the car barely made it to the shop, smoking and shaking, then dying. The assessment was $9000 in damage for a $3500 car. I tried to contact Royal Auction Group and they read from the same script, avoiding any kind of actual accountability. I asked them to meet me 1/2 way and keep some of the money to make this right and again deaf ears. So we are left with no vehicle out thousands and as you can imagine heart broken. As I've read more about this company, this is part of their every day operations, praying on people whodon't know the ins and outs of their industry. It's a horrible company and also horrible optics for Florida as a whole, that what look like cosmetically clean cars are being sold with the expectation of failing and leaving the consumer with nothing. I don't know what can be done. They don't seem to care about the rules of business or common decency, but I did feel compelled to reach out to you. I appreciate your time and consideration.

So an update on Royal Auction group when I bought a vehicle from them that they said it had a…read moreparticular amount of miles which after I got the vehicle and went to register it it did not have the miles. They told me it would and I called them. They wouldn't help me to mention the car didn't run when I got here and they also mentioned that it ran that they checked it anyway I tried to bid on A Car I didn't realise at first it was for Royal Auction group. I saw that I was declined to bid and then I noticed it was Royal Auction group so I called them up and they said they banned me because I left them a bad review. Now not only did they not try to help me but they got upset at me because they did the wrong thing so again I reiterate stay away from this company. They are terrible. Can you imagine being banned because they did the wrong thing and they got upset they didn't even try and help me. Buyer, beware.
