I've actually never written a bad review before, and I went back and forth trying to decide whether or not I should leave a review at all. In the end, I decided to write one with the hopes that other people do not get ripped off also. We took an iPad to Mobile2You with a broken glass screen. The iPad had fallen on the floor, and still worked except for the broken glass. We had to pay 50 euro in cash at the time of dropping it off - the rest was to be paid upon picking the repaired iPad up. It took a total of 5 months (!!!) - I spent weeks chasing these people down, asking where the iPad was. There were always different excuses and in the end, they said that the light no longer worked so they had to send it out to someone else. 5 months is absurd to fix a broken glass screen. Every time I asked about how much longer it would take, I was told they'd call me "next week" each time in a very indifferent and arrogant matter. We didn't get our money back and I refused to pay any more than the 50 euro that I had already put down. I took the iPad somewhere else and I was told that Mobile2You broke the lighting when fixing the screen because they didn't turn the iPad off while fixing the glass and that this fries the circuit board (they were able to prove this by opening up the iPad to check if the battery was connected: low and behold, it was not!)
I am really dissapointed at how these guys do business and that they fail to take any responsibility at all for breaking the iPad further. I can't recommend that anyone takes their phone or tablet here - not only will it take roughly 5 months but it will be returned broken! this is not how to do business - especially when fixing broken screen is supposed to be your specialty! read more
