VERY DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE with Jose Hernandez, per the contract their 'band leader', on a event…read moreheld of just last night. Booked them last December for a 70th BD party to be held May 2. Paid the deposit at the same time. Communicating with Jose the week prior I requested the trio set up an hour before the event started so no last minute sound checks etc. and the evening could start on time and go smooth. Needed a live mike so BD speeches could be made prior to their start time. He said not a problem. The BD started at 5 PM, still no trio. Dinner started at 6:15 PM, still no trio. Booked to play from 7 to 9 PM. Were they even going to show up ? No communication with either myself or the venue. Band showed up at 6:45ish to set up after the evening was in full swing. No apology yet (from Jose who I had negotiated the event with) and was told by Luis, the evenings lead, was all they knew they were hired to play from 7 to 9. TOTAL lack of professionalism in running your business and communicating with your client. Will NEVER recommend your business to any potential future clients. I would NEVER want my friends to go thru the same stress and anxiety we experienced last night.

Wow! This group performed at my parents 50th anniversary party and blew everyone away. They were on…read moretime, nicely-dressed, and so professional. They played everything we asked them to and were very interactive with the crowd. MC and band all in one. Not everyone at our party spoke Spanish, but that didn't even matter. Everyone enjoyed it. They accompanied my 13-year old niece singing "El Rey" as well as my cousin who sang some Selena songs. We danced so much that a few days later we are still trying to recover. Some bands are a hit or miss, but this one was definitely a hit! I will certainly be hiring them for future events. They were so much fun and I highly recommend them. You will not be disappointed. Karamjeet was super easy to work with, very patient and professional. He made sure he played all the songs from the list we provided, and even took care of my last-minute song requests! His music selection was excellent (Punjabi, Bollywood and Western) that kept everyone busy on the dance floor. Our guests told us that that they loved our DJ, and were impressed with the sequence in which songs were mixed. The Dholi who accompanied Karamjeet delivered to our expectations, and made the dance party even more fun with his dhol beats perfectly synced with music being played. As soon as I walked in I instantly felt a really cool "vintage" vibe - the kind that makes you want to stay and look at everything (Opposite of a large retail music store). The staff was courteous, personable & genuine, and not pushy at all (no used car salesman behavior). A gentleman named Jake waited on me. He definitely has a high level of knowledge about guitars. He even changed strings on an acoustic guitar that I was trying out, just to make sure I was getting a fair playing sound from it. I ended up buying a different guitar - and he gave me a complimentary set of strings that I got to choose. It's been quite awhile since I've walked out of a retail business, where I really felt like I was legitimately taken care of. Absolutely Lovely!…read more I booked Mariachi Guadalajara for my wedding in October and they were amazing. So much so that one of the guest offered to pay an extra hour for them to keep playing. But unfortunately, they had an event already planned. Regardless, I should of booked them for longer before the event. They all had beautiful voices but the I loved the girl singer. They were very professional and started kept in contact with me weeks before the wedding to make sure everything will run smooth. I ended up walking down the aisle while they played and it was beautiful. Definitely recommend them for your events! will book again :)

Communication was terrible and completely unprofessional. He requested half the payment upfront, so I gave him a $200 deposit. After he received the money, he stopped responding -- no replies to my calls, texts, or voicemails (both in English and Spanish). As my mother's 90th birthday was approaching, I was extremely uneasy and stressed, not even sure if he would show up. To my surprise, another group -- not Mario -- arrived to perform. Thankfully, they were good and did a nice job, but they were not the people I hired. It seems Mario just passed the job off to someone else without any communication or confirmation. Overall, this was a very unprofessional experience. I would not recommend working with Mario Hernandez. There are plenty of other groups out there who respect their clients and communicate properly. Please beware -- he takes his cut and disappears.
