I've been using Mike for twenty years. He's the best. Now, I think his business is closed. So sorry.

Cost me $120 to learn that the switch on my gas pressure washer was set to off rather than on.

I've used these guys for both my lawn mower & snow thrower; great customer service and fair price.

Edit 8/22/25: the owner of CJE reached out after seeing my review. He acknowledged some missteps on…read moreCJE's end and replaced my loader, free of charge. While he made things right, and I certainly did not expect a new loader to be the outcome, it's a shame that it had to come to that. Overall, a potential customer-business relationship goes sour, the business loses money, the customer has unnecessary hassle. The owner did assure me that both Jeff (sales) and Joe (service) were good guys, which I don't doubt. I suppose we can chalk this up to a one-off "perfect storm" of crappy situations. I was looking to trade in my 1025r TLB for a 2038r TLB, a big upgrade for a casual homeowner user of a tractor. I reached out to CJE and Jeff responded, and gave me what seemed like a really good deal (turns out, it wasn't that great and two other dealers were willing to match it). Because, at the time, I thought it was such a great deal, I asked Jeff what the catch was. He said no catch, and that he just wanted to steal market share from PA dealers (I'm in PA). So I accepted his first offer for both trade value of my 1025r TLB and the price for the new 2038r TLB. Before accepting, I asked if the 2038r TLB was brand new, 2024. He said "2024, brand new." I guess one part of that was true... everything is brand new, but it turns out the front loader is a 2021 leftover which has a bunch of surface rust that they tried to cover up with green paint. The only reason I found this out is because a few months after taking ownership of my "new" 2038r, I start having floppy bucket issues. Here's where the fun begins... due to the floppy bucket, I asked CJE if we could warranty this. I sent videos, they talked to John Deere corporate, JD said to pick up the tractor and run a leak down test. So the service manager, Joe, gets involved and says it'll be about a week after pickup before I have the tractor back. A week comes and goes, and I reach out... Joe says they haven't even looked at my tractor yet. Naturally, I'm not happy because I thought I was getting my tractor back but now, it could be another week before I do. Thankfully, after an annoyed email response to them, they jumped on it right away and within basically an hour, they got me results of the leak down test. Unfortunately, it "passed" the test and they couldn't do anything about it. Here's the rub: leading up to this, I found out the front loader is a 2021. I had no idea up until this very issue that it was a 2021. Sure, it's new and I have full warranty on it, but I'm also dealing with floppy bucket on a $50k tractor. Maybe if they didn't bait and switch me with a FEL that was sitting outside for four years, I wouldn't be having issues... Another note: they installed the hydraulic hoses the wrong way for the FEL before initial delivery. The hoses were interfering with the forward and back pedal operation, so I mentioned this to the driver who picked up the tractor for the FEL service appointment and he agreed that the hoses should NOT be routed that way and that he noticed it when backing the tractor up onto his flat bed. So, I asked if he could mention that to the service folks to fix and reroute and he said no problem. So when I emailed them after a week of no communication about the status of my tractor, the tech decided to mention that "you or someone had removed and re-installed them backwards." So my response was to send them a photo that Jeff, the sales manager, sent me before they initially delivered the tractor to me, clearly showing the hoses installed by them incorrectly. TL;DR: - be careful when you purchase and verify you get what you actually agreed to buy, because they might sneak a leftover unit in and hope you don't realize, then play dumb and say they "didn't realize" - the service folks will accuse you of tampering with your own equipment, even though the dealership delivered it with incorrectly installed parts, and that is assuming they actually look at your equipment when they said they would - don't expect any helpful service after you've purchased

I had a great experience At Warren County Service. I just purchased my first John Deere hobby farm…read moretractor. It was a fun experience. They met me after hours due to my schedule and also accommodated my schedule for pick up and deliveries. I would definitely go back to them for future needs. It's a family business with a family feel when you visit.
