It was truly a collaborative effort. Drink service was easy and swift, providing spirits and beverages for all within a short timeframe. On top of that, Kevin and co. really brought their positivity and professionalism to the wedding day with style and kindness. Additionally, when our catering company was late and sent fewer people than they had originally contracted for, The Tin Shakers team stepped in to help solve the short by assisting with service at the buffet. Highly recommend Tin Shakers for all your elevated and tasty drink service needs!

Sometimes I go to various places, and the people behind the counter are extremely rude and are lacking personability. Justin and Marissa are incredible at what they do! I feel like they are reviving life in the 805 (and wherever they go). Super down to earth, very personable and helpful and they know how to serve as tastemakers - and... They are the real deal when it comes to Mixology! Let me put it this way... even though I'm not in recovery, I gave up drinking over two decades ago. It's not difficult to put together a tasty beverage. When you have people who are fabulous to what they do (including providing a quality customer experience), why wouldn't anyone want to support a business who helps others feel great? They had no problem making something unique for me - and they did such a fantastic job! The beverage I received was absolutely flavorful, and I could see it turning heads! These guys have a fabulous selection, they know how to treat other as well and there's a reason why they are in business! Justin and Marissa - thank you for doing what you do and thank you for being so awesome! You definitely know how to help others feel welcome and you're helping enhance their experience by what you do. Keep up the great work and I look forward to supporting you guys super soon!

However, I definitely don't think that anymore. I am incredibly grateful I enrolled, despite what I had heard, and finished the course! Not only did I receive hands on experience by practicing in their mock bar, but I also was able to learn all types of cocktails, alcohol types, brands, and liqueurs etc quickly. For someone like me, I like to make sure I know how to do things before I get thrown into situations; learning as I go in a work setting can be nerve-wracking so I was very pleased to be able to build up confidence in my pours and counts before I started bartending events. For me, this type of training was imperative before attempting to work at a restaurant. NBS staff is knowledgeable as it gets when it comes to the craft. They're there to encourage and help you whenever you have questions while practicing, which has been helpful to me. They don't just teach you how to make drinks, but they also educate you on how to address customer service situations too (i.e. a very drunk customer and needing to cut them off). They touch all bases in this course. The lessons are very easy to take in and the class schedules are flexible to your own needs. You could finish the course in two weeks if you really put your mind to it, or you can take it slower like I did. Either way, I'm very happy with my decision to have gone to NBS. I've learned so much and now I have been working steadily for events for them! Don't let people tell you bartending school isn't worth it! It definitely is!
