There is one main island of pumps that have four on each side so if you do pull in, pull all the way forward so that others can follow suit. You can work yourself around them, but it's a tight squeeze.

The young man working the counter was honestly one of the kindest and most respectful employees I've experienced in a very long time. While I was waiting, I watched how he greeted every single person with a smile, kindness, and genuine respect. Some people didn't even acknowledge him back, but he still smiled and wished them a good day. As an older woman, it was refreshing to witness that kind of energy and professionalism from someone so young. He completely changed the vibe of the store and honestly made my evening better just by being kind. I hope management knows what a great employee they have because people like that are rare nowadays.
