Even 90 seconds outside of your car in full winter garb will leave you feeling like you were stranded in the Siberian tundra. As for the convenience store segment? It's not bad. Much cleaner and better organized than most area gas station convenience stores. It doesn't seem as 2/3 of the inventory is past date either, which is also too common. You are honestly probably better off running into the main Meijer store for most of these needs but they are here and they are convenient if you don't feel like the extra stop.

It's totally self-service. There is an assistant available at the honk of your horn, which is nice. In the past we've run into problems with our card or a particular pump acting up. This helper has always alleviated anything out of the norm for us. So that's pretty good service. This location has incredibly long lines. I would never wait during prime time for gas. It's always the same as the Marathon down the street too, they are direct competitors. I ended up down the street since it was full and packed here. Gas was $2.45/gallon, not too bad. Same price at Sunoco, it's all the same to me, it all depends on which place has a longer wait. Prices are better than most other stations in the vicinity at least. That being said, it didn't take me too long to get in and out. I had looked at the prices on Gasbuddy before going and it was about $.12 more than Commerce, but it was worth it to me to not have to make two trips out, especially with my baby. I looked at some of the reviews before I walked in, and I must admit they do have a ton of craft beers. They also have some of the local craft soft drinks as well. A decent variety of wines and liquors rounds out the offerings. You can also get hot coffee, tea, cappuccino, frappuccino, and probably some other kind of -ccinos. Soft drinks are available back at the fountain by the coffees. Outside were bags and bags of carrots, apples, corn and sugar beets, all ready for feeding the poor starving deer in the wild. A few gasoline pumps and 4 or 5 truck lanes for diesel. Very limited parking for big-rigs. Really, read the other reviews, as they do a much better job than mine in telling the whole story. It did take a while to get the sandwiches because of the volume from the push on socials. You can pre-order and I recommended that. Clean, nice store. Sandwiches are really good. There is also a bunch of other food choices. There were a few homeless wandering around and in and out, I assume as spill over from the nearby very large hospital complex.
