I used to live near here and it was where I frequently bought groceries. I enjoyed the friendliness of the employees, and they always appear to be working. The pandemic really impacted their stock so yeah, sometimes you can't find what you're looking for but oh well. Things all well organized and stocked neatly. I truly appreciate how they put reduced prices on items, hoping to salvage it instead of having to toss it. The bathroom is nice-ish looking but both the soap dispensers were broken and just sitting on the counter. I do like that they have a toddler seat in the bathroom for when you need a place to secure your kid because either they don't walk yet or you don't want them crawling/crouching under stalls ‍ They have a Caroline's Cart for a child with special needs, two "fun" carts but no small sized carts for kids to push themselves like a couple other Krogers. read more

I contacted Kroger regarding having no customer service after 4:00pm. I got a half hearted apology but 3 weeks later there has been no changes . WTF. Better to go to Meijers. I do not believe they can find no workers as I was told by staff. Apparently, no management or customer service. Absolutely terrible read more

Worst customer service ever here!!! Their deli workers are incredibly disrespectful. They never have anyone working the checkout lanes either. I would take the extra cpl miles to the next Kroger OR go to Meijer. read more

Gas is $.20 cheaper than the other stations around. Also they have no ethanol unleaded gas 90% octane.

Kroger Mobile. Prices are great. However, they frequently are out of printer paper for providing receipts, out of power, or out of gas. It's great if it all things are working right. Today, they only offered Premium. Kroger store is terrible. Some products are expired. Customer Service has been closed the last four days that I have been there. Where is the Manager if they cannot hire anyone? There were two people in front of me and they were had expressed the same findings. Customer Service should be job #1. We will be spending more time at Meijer. read more

Alright, this place always has a line. ... but what a great deal with the kroger gas rewards for shopping there! I love when they have 4x the fuel points for buying gift cards- if you are on my Christmas list, guess what you are getting :-) read more

Kroger - Always a long line. .. - Gas Stations Near Me - Lake Orion, Michigan

I shop at this Kroger often, only because it is close. I prefer the Baldwin rd one all day. Today I had to run out to get something at 6 am. for my daughter's school breakfast. When I arrived around 6:15am, the parking lot had a lot of the front spots filled. I went inside, and there were no customers, only employees They park in the front spots? I proceeded to get more than my one item, and come to find there were no check out lanes open. I had to sellf scan, bag, and reload cart while the one who runs the self scan checkout, calmly just watched, and read the paper! Psh. No thanks. read more

I shop at the Lake Orion Kroger store all the time, at least 2x a week. Tonight I went to meat counter and when I was finally greeted it was " so u need something?" I said yes thank u,ordered my first thing Then he said " here you go". Well it was then I decided not to get the rest of my items.. I did speak to front desk, but not much help. It's unfortunate but I've given them many tries. I'll be shopping at Meijer or Hollywood in Rochester from now on. read more

This gas station is just up the road from Admiral and just as good gas price. It's always busy because of the decent price. Literally 20¢ per gallon cheaper than the BP right off 75. Bonus: it's across from Starbucks. :) read more

For at least the past 6 months, fuel price has been higher (10-20cents) than surrounding stations, and significantly higher (as much as 60cents at times) than areas like Oxford or worse yet Lapeer. Today, Diesel is $1.89- $2.05 nearly everywhere, yet this Krogers is $2.39 today. A few weeks ago it had been stuck at $2.79 for weeks!! It renders the Kroger's fuel points nearly useless. Be careful, check gas buddy app for latest fuel prices. Chances are you can do alot better and avoid the most screwed up entry/exit that man has designed. #FAIL# read more

Today (6/17/20) my little brother and I took back bottles at the Kroger in Lake Orion, MI. Since they recently opened back up it was a little busy in the bottle return part so I get that it was hectic. I work at a essential retail store and understand customer service. However, RICK was awful. He was so unbelievably rude. First off, he was not wearing his mask when employees are required to, and he was not respecting customers 6 feet distance. I do understand that it is a small area to work with, I didn't mind but it is disrespectful. The first thing that happened was when I first went to the bottle return part. There was a lady looking at chips, which was right by the start of the line, so I was being respectful of her 6 feet and went to the right of her (you could still tell I was the first one in line). RICK came over to me and told me to get to the first designated line and proceeded to push the cart which pushed me, mind you I was telling him "sorry there was a lady right there I was being mindful". Once my brother and I were up next to one of the slots it was full after putting a couple in. Then RICK came over and literally shooed us away, without saying a word. Another slot opened and we proceeded to use that slot. The slot was cutting us off at $10.00, and we had no problem with that. RICK came over and was telling me that it was our fault that it was doing that because of the cans we were using when it was not. So, he tried to argue with me about it, I gave up and said okay. I hope he sees this, I capitalized his name for a reason. This only got 2 stars because Carol the cashier was so incredibly nice and made my day better. read more

Some of the cheapest gas avaliable in Metro Detroit. Only problem is there's tons of idiots that don't know or care how to wait in line and pull straight in when one of the eight pumps opens up. Nobody seems capable of watching all eight pumps at once. Lots of line jumping going on and there's actually been fights between drivers posted on YouTube from this station because nobody seems to care about the proper way to drive straight up to the pumps. Outside of that, it's a great station for some of the cheapest gas in Metro Detroit. read more
