Now that montauk gas has been taken over by new ownership and now call Rez gas the gas is more expensive than outside gas. This is pure greed. They took away the use of a bathroom and even garbage can to cut costs only to over charge for gas when they are not subjected to the same tax liabilities. The entire Reservation economy will suffer from the greed.

Be careful of getting scammed! Was just there this morning to get gas. I put in my rewards info and…read morethen lifted the pump and hit regular before moving the pump to my car. As I was filling up I noticed the light was on regular but the price wasn't matching up...Well I was charged for premium! I brought this to the attention to the attendant and was told "oh this happens all the time, people accidentally hit premium with the hose". Except the light was on regular. I then asked if there was cameras if they could check and somehow pumps 1 and 2 aren't under camera surveillance. The attendant then calls his boss, they speak another language to start so I'm left not knowing what was said, and then switches to English to tell his boss the issue. And would you believe the first thing the boss says is, you must've hit premium with the hose and that there's nothing they can do since it says premium on the receipt. Of course it does, you charged me for premium, that's the issue!! Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this station. Now I have to deal with my bank as the management and workers were no help whatsoever.

The only real issue I have with Speedway in Shirley is that there credit card machines are always down! It always seems to be down when I need to fill up. I hardly ever carry cash on me and feel this gas station is on my way to work so it's perfect! But no such luck. "Credit Card Down" is what you will see when you put your card in the gas terminal and "Sorry the credit is down!" Is what you hear when you walk in. I would normally not Yelp about this but this has been going on for 2 days! So if you see me stranded on Montauk Highway, please have a gas can ready for me.

Plus there was a promotion to get 10 cents off per gallon when paying through the 76 app. After applying that discount I ended up paying less than just under $3 per gallon! I found using the app to pay quite easy. Will fill up here again if I'm in the area.

Finally broke any connection with them when my Dodge Neon start heating, and they just kept filling water and saying everything is ok... almost lost the engine... It's on a tight corner in bellport so watch out for people who can't navigate in tight parking lots. The store was very clean and had a brand new feel. A wide array of choices for drinks and snacks.
