However, this location has fewer pumps than most, so we find our selves having to wait for the next available opening. There is not a lot of space to maneuver around, so you can easily find yourself stuck in place until your turn arrives. Plus, when exiting the station, it seems to take forever to get back onto Watt Ave. during heavy traffic, which is most of the time! Sometimes I would rather go to a higher priced gas station that has lots of available pumps with plenty of space to drive around the lot. But that's just me. The folks that work at this station always greet me, remember me and ask how I am doing. The prices are average for a Chevron. The location is great being just off the I80 ramp. The Extra Mile mini mart, car wash, free air and water are always available for customers, including a "Jack In The Box" on the same premises. They have a sufficient number of pumps, along with plenty of driving room and parking spaces. I did not use the inside facilities, but I'm certain by the looks of things, the building, as well as the outside areas are maintained up to Chevron standards. Sometimes the pumps don't work for whatever reason but I just switch pumps and they work fine. Sometimes the pumps would stop on their own, usually at $100 for me but just pump some more. My husband grabbed a 6 pack of beer and I loaded up on candy - Butterfinger, Almond Joy, Hershey's Cookies and Cream, a new Reese's Cup with Marshmallow and Sour Blue Raspberry Mike and Ike's to last us through the weekend. Aside from the usual gas station snacks, they also offer Krispy Krunchy Fried Chicken, potato wedges and hot dogs - among other items. They also had Icee and fountain drink options. If you're craving fried chicken, stop by for your take-out order. The cashiers didn't really talk, but took my friend's jokes in stride and they weren't rude. Go in! Thank me later! (Note: please don't twist this around as something racist. Oftentimes people will say something like, "it's a really good sign at a Chinese (or any other ethnic cuisine) restaurant, when there's all Chinese diners."
