My Boston friend and I headed north from Boston Logan international Airport when we decided that we…read morewere running low on gasoline. No worries. We stopped by this Shell Oil gas station in Lynn, MA for a fill up. Why do I need to review a gas station? I decided to purchase a Mega Million lottery ticket while I was there. Spoiler alert: I didn't win. The entire experience took about 10 minutes in total. We pulled up to an available gas pump station and I checked it for a faulty skimmer, since you never know nowadays. After that, I filled the tank of my Boston friend's car, since he is helping me get to Manchester, NH for the night and charged the gas purchase to my credit card. The price per gallon wasn't bad though. It was under $3 per gallon, which is pretty good these days. Once I finished pumping the gas into the vehicle, I put the pump back in its place, grabbed the receipt the machine gives, and proceed to go into the store to pick up the lottery ticket. On this evening in Lynn, there was a young lady who manned the counter. I was indecisive about how much rows of numbers I should get. I finally got 8 rows of numbers and was charged $16. I pulled out a $20 bill and got $4 change. I received my lottery ticket and left the Shell store. Even though I didn't have a chance in winning, it was a chance and at least I stopped at $20 and didn't go crazy over it. That's the main thing when it comes to gambling. Getting gas is one of the things I don't do nowadays, unless I'm traveling with friends and they need assistance, which is what happened in this case. The overall experience here at this Shell Oil gas station was good, quick, and nice. We just happened to randomly come to this Shell Oil gas station on the way to Manchester, NH that night. It was cool and definitely a nice stop en route to Manchester, NH. The lady at the counter was nice and friendly, so there's that. I was glad that we pulled into an available spot without much waiting. We paid for regular unleaded with the 87 octane rating. That's usually the cheapest gas product around these days. The store had a lot of stuff that drivers love to have on any road trip. Snacks and drinks are essentials to have on any outing. While this particular gas station isn't perfect or a favorite, I wrote this review because it was not just getting gas, but also a lottery ticket that ultimately didn't win. Too bad, huh? But the experience was uneventful and good. The lady at the counter was helpful too, which also helped in getting to where I wanted to be that night. And so, if you're ever in the Lynn, Massachusetts area and need a lottery ticket or just to fill your gas tank, consider this Shell Oil gas station on your next travels thru the area. This Shell Oil gas station is located at 122 Boston Street in Lynn, Massachusetts. They accept major credit cards and cash. Depending on whether you want an automatic full tank or not, best to let the personnel inside the store to ring up your purchase. Only lottery tickets require cash, but the items in the store can be purchased with credit cards. For the most part though, the most enjoyable part of this entire ordeal was the fact that I picked up lottery tickets without thinking about it. While I didn't win, it was cool to be able to buy and control myself with just one purchase per trip. Gas and oil prices are definitely the lifeblood of today's economy and happy to be able to contribute to even a fraction of that due to travel. There is parking spots next to the Shell Store, if you need to park after grabbing gas and want to purchase additional items. Other than that, I don't see why you'd need an uber to get here, unless you want a lottery ticket from specifically here. Or something. regardless of how you get here, it's a pretty cool place to grab lottery tickets and gasoline for your car or rental car in the greater Boston area. 4.0 stars for the overall experience and the counter service. at this station, driving northbound and southbound on Lynnway, signs are high above gas pumps can…read moreeasily be seen from the road while driving by. Typical speeds on the Lynnway, along with typical traffic, don't allow for careful visual research on a gas station's prices. This station takes advantage of this fact, and swindles people. Here's wht happened to us. Driving by, going north, we saw gas $2.69 and planned to buy gas there on the way back south from our northern destination. Yes, returning south we stopped there for gas and started filling up the tank. After filling, my friend happened to look up high above her and saw that $2.69 IS THE PRICE ONLY IF YOU ALSO BOUGHT A CAR WASH AT THE SAME TIME. If you did not buy a car wash, gas costs $3.89 / gallon!! The lower price is posted above the higher price, so that driving by at Lynnwy speeds, you are easily fooled. The two different prices and service options (gas, gas with car wash) are not listed on the pumps. Their advertising is false and is designed to charge the ridiculousy high price of $3.89 / gallon if you don't hang around and read their very tall. highway-height price signs to learn the scam they are perpetrating. BE CAREFUL. DON'T GO THERE. We are telling all of our family and friends and none of us will go there again for anything. Best of luck to all.

I have been here a few dozen times since my last review and have completed my purchases of fuel as well as drinks and snacks quickly and without any problems. I will definitely continue to fuel up here. I increase this Shell location to 4 Stars.
