I can't imagine why this location has such a low rating. Especially when compared to other gas…read morestations and convenience stores in a 10 miles radius, I think this place is great! A nice variety of coffee and coffee condiments, a good atm (possibly always fee-free), gift cards for businesses other than KT and a small selection of traditional cards. There's plenty of groceries if you forgot something, mostly cheaper than the grocery store practically across the street, and yummy warm food for on-the-go. One can *usually*, but not always find slightly cheaper gas in Footville, but KT has E8 available to those who prefer it. I've never had a problem with any of my purchases and most of the employees are above and beyond kind. Especially that sweet older lady that works most late nights. I wish I knew her name and actually feel bad that I don't because she deserves major kudos for the attitude and commitment she's shown to great customer service.

There are hand sanitizer stations outside by each gas pump, and guess what? You know how a lot of hand sanitizer is either scentless, or smells like gross, cheap tequila? This smells like delightful, light peppermint... it's soooo good! It's one of the best hand sanitizers I've ever encountered. I'm honestly in love with it. It's kinda thin, but that just makes it fast drying. When I tell you how good this hand sanitizer is, I cannot overstate it! If it wouldn't take so long to individually pump each single pump out, I wouldn't blame someone for getting their overpriced gas money revenge out by getting one of those travel size bottles with them and just trying to fill it up as much as possible with hand sanitizer during your gassing up with magnificently mild minty medicinal mitt moistener! But alas, it would take far too long, and people would probably stare at you, like, "what on earth are you doing?" And you'd scream, "stocking up on my mana potions! Mind your business!" Or something. Who knows? All I know is that the hand sanny smells great. And that's nice. The gas is expensive, but they don't have a lot to be competitive with in the area. Someday I'll go inside and update this review on what it's like inside.

There is a young woman who works here frequently till close. She is always very curt or rude to me…read moreand everyone I have come into the station with. My boyfriend is a regular who comes in every day to get a soda and water refill. Today she was cleaning the dispense nozzles with a tooth brush at the counter. My boyfriend is a very polite, friendly guy. He asked her if he could get some soda. The clerk responded in a customarily rude tone, "NO, I'm cleaning them." He asked, "Can I get a water then?" She barked, "No, LOOK, I'm CLEANING them." Then she thrust the dirty toothbrush at him. This is not uncommon behavior from this young woman. If she wore a name tag I would share her name, but I can only say that at this point in time my boyfriend (always a loyal customer) says that she has only been working for around ten months. She also takes smoking breaks and isn't afraid to express her annoyance at me or him when one of us happens to go into the store to make a quick purchase at the time she wants to take her break. Similarly, she has barked at us 15 to closing that we need to "Hurry it up" (very nastily and unwelcoming) even though she knows full well we are only visiting to purchase a couple refills. I wish I knew the name of this woman so I could report her myself, because I have lots of stories like this. She has never said pleasantries to us such as "Hello" or "Have a good day" when we enter or exit the station. She is rude and if her managers observed her rudeness she would be promptly fired. I figure that she is only there because they have no idea, or because she has some sort of connection that helps her keep her job. Other than that, it is a clean, well-maintained store and the rest of the staff seems fairly friendly. The prices are moderate, but their deals and occasional sales are cheaper than most other stations, even grocery stores. Their soda refills are also 53¢ regardless of size, with 25¢ water refills.
