Luckily it was off, even though the trigger mechanism was stuck.

The clerk told us they did not want to get us our propane " as the propane cage sticks and it hurts their shoulder to open the cage". After a few minutes of listening to why getting propane is so difficult, we wondered if we were getting service or not. Finally another associate stepped in and helped us out.
