The pumps and front of the station were perfect, once you go inside it feels like Saw. The gentleman running the station was nice, he said "hello" and wished us a good night, but I just wasn't feeling the vibe here. Maybe, it's better in the morning? We stopped for drinks, I got a fountain drink and my parents got some bottled items. The fountain drinks were good but had a slight aftertaste, not sure if they cleaned the machine correctly. I've been going to this gas station for basically ever (or the past 20 years lol). It's the closest gas station to me, and I've come to this one multiple times out of convenience. It's close and quick/ easy to grab some gas or hit the store for alcohol, snacks etc. The downside is that the gas is expensive. It's one of the most expensive gas stations in Corona. And they can get away with it because of the location. The pumps are decent, although most of the time you have to hold the gasoline pump while it's filling up because the locking mechanisms don't work and it always pops and stops filling with gas. So that is annoying. They recently upgraded the car wash. It is a lot better now, but they raised the prices. You have to drive through the dryer super slowly, but fast enough to dry your whole car. I always found this rather annoying. Why can't it dry my car for me? I try to time it perfectly and never can lol There are other drive through car washes that are better. Overall this gas station is fine if you don't mind paying more. But it's good for convenience purposes. read more

Went here last night for the first time and I did not like it. First, the gas is pricey. Then, the pump is kind of grotty. last, I used the car wash because I REALLY needed a car wash. This is the weirdest Car Wash I've gone to and I regularly go to gas station car washes, but it only sprays on your car. I also have no clue what I paid the extra for because this was the quickest car wash I've had. When it was over, it did knocke the dust off and my car is a little shinier, but there is still dirt on the car and windows and water spots everywhere! I guess you're paying for convenience with this location. It's right off the freeway and in a nice new shopping area, but it's so expensive compared to other stations in the area. If you're able to make it to another location, I'd do that. If you absolutely need to get some gas, I'd say just get a few gallons & then finish filling up at another location. So this place is in a nice area, however their gasoline prices are easily 0.75 cents higher per gallon than anywhere else in the world. I love this gas station. It's always clean and everyone who works here is super friendly. They always remember me and genuinely ask how I am. There's never "weird" people loitering outside or asking for money. No waits ever and the guy at the service shop helped me at least a dozen times for free, checking my tires and filling them with air or oil when my oil was low. Very personable, very clean and I couldn't care less about the gas prices as I won't go anywhere else:-) read more

This gas station is so shady I went to cash my winning scratchers in & the guy told me he didn't have enough money to give me for my winning $50 ticket and he gave it back to me. I had 2 other tickets that he told me won $15 but he told me I could only get scratchers with that money since he had no cash. I said ok, but then he only gave me $10 worth of tickets. This Mobil is fairly new so its pretty (compared to every other mobil in corona) and the on the run shop is pretty well stocked. So why the 2-star rating? The people and the prices. If you hate reading, here's the gist of this review: The owner and a few of his employees are very stoic, unfriendly and just plain rude and the prices are higher on gas and store items than elsewhere. Ive said it before, ill say it again there has to be something extraordinarily great or horrible going on to review a gas station. I know this wont change any regular customer's habits but I hope attitudes will change. What I dont appreciate about Mobil stations is that their gas is always slightly higher priced than every other gas station near it. I get that the locations themselves cant dictate those prices (maybe they can but i dont know how to run a gas station) but its a little off putting, especially in a recession. One of the cars my family owns runs on diesel and instead of going down the hill and getting gas here, we'll end up going an exit north to shell or south to arco where their diesel will always be cheaper. So to complain about gas prices is universal and petty but then if you go inside to grab food, drink, etc.. and those prices suck as well. I'll be fair and say that snack foods aren't so much different but their drinks seem to be a couple of cents more expensive than other places. Particularly is youre buying alcohol. I would save my money and buy a case of beer at stater bros. $10+ for some sam adams? more for heineken? no. The gross miscarriage of price is the trying-to-be-fancy wines they have in stock. yes its cool they have it, but not at those prices. I frequently buy the wilson creek winery's almond champagne and am familiar with its price. It should always be $8.99 to $11.99. WHY is this mobil trying to get away will selling it for $19.99? Thats bullshit. SOLUTION to these: just go to staters which is the same plaza. Sure, I could deal with the prices but what makes me really dislike this location are the people. Before you judge your 3 or 4 trips here against what im saying, Ive come in a couple times a week since it opened. I like the younger employees, particularly the girls who do and will treat you with respect and a smile. Even engage in some pleasant chit chat. The young men are pretty nice, too. They're helpful and respectful (especially this one young man with a goatee which ive seen less and less of) but with the exception for this one taller guy who is almost always stoic and apathetic toward me. He doesnt do anything wrong but his behavior is a stark contrast to the others. Its the older men that work late afternoons/evenings that get to me. They're very blunt and sometimes rude when you do something incorrectly. I had tried to get 2 red bulls for $3 deal but got the wrong size. Instead of telling me that, the older, bald man snapped at me and demanded I take it back and get the right size. I tried to get lotto for my mom but because her slip was a little wrinkled in the corner, the guy huffed and puffed and sighed loudly when he tried unsuccessfully to get it through the machine. I noticed there was a line forming and told him I would just re-do the slip. He glared at me for a second and then made a spectacle of me in front of the line by pointing out the wrinkle and saying "this is bad! its no good to put through the machine, ok? just do a new one! go over there!" and he slapped it down on the counter. The owner of this station is a short, thin, tan man that chain smokes in front of the store. He kind up sets the standard of apathetic, stoicism for the place. He just stares out and when he's finally inside, if theres a line of people waiting he wont open the second register and take people. The times he does open another register, he seems very judgmental because he will take some people and then take off even if there's still more people to be helped. I get its his store and his prerogative but it just seems unfair and rude. He's done that to me several times, where he'll take random people from the line but when Im up there he'll just leave. The times he has helped me, he says very little and just stares forward while ringing me up. Its weird and above all just plain rude. He literally just seems like the type of guy who throws his weight around and just hangs out to collect money. Hes not there to serve the community. He's there to chain smoke out front and stare at people, which is actually a little creepy. I've had it with this location. But what can you do when its the only one off the cajalco exit? Oh yeah, keep going to other gas stations and not come back to this one. There just needs to be a serious attitude adjustment with the employees of this store or i will continue to go out of my way to find another service station. I prefer not to, Id like to make this Mobil my preferred station near home but not if the attitude doesnt change. read more

I went here for a car wash after being on vacation for a week my truck had been sitting and was all dusty. First I paid at the car wash console and it did not give me a receipt but the car wash said to enter which I did and it never turned on! I went inside and told the cashier and he asked for my receipt I said the console didn't give me a receipt and he accused me of lying and saying it always gives receipts! So I sad ok I'll go check and as I was walking out he was like ok ok here's a code... So rude! And to top it off when I re-entered the car wash it barley used any soap, was super quick (I paid extra for the works) and it did not even clean off the dirt from my truck. read more

This has to be the worst gas station on the planet. I've gone here several times because it's close to my daughter's house and, thus, conveniently located. Every time I go, something's always broken... the pump, the car wash, the vacuum cleaners. Mr. Owner: here's a tip... if you want to run a business keep your equipment in working order. I can't tell you how many times I've had to get back in my car and move to another pump because the one I pulled up to wasn't working. One time the display screen was broken, another time the credit card swiper was broken where I couldn't slide my card, another time the pump simply did not pump gas after authorizing my card and selecting the grade. I tried my hardest to refrain from leaving a bad review, but yesterday was the straw that broke the camel's back. I paid at the pump for gas and chose to get a car wash. After pumping gas, the stupid thing did not print the receipt with the car wash code on it. So I pushed the hep button several times with no response. MY GRANDSON WAS ASLEEP IN THE BACK SEAT SO I COULDN'T JUST GO IN. So I looked them up and called from my cell phone. The guy said, "Oh, the help button doesn't work." What a shock that was (sarcasm). So he said he would be right out with a receipt. He came out a few minutes later and handed me a receipt and went back inside. I started to drive toward the car wash and noticed the receipt didn't have a car wash code on it. I looked closer to see it wasn't my receipt and the date was from two weeks ago. UGH! I called the guy again and he said he'd be out with the correct receipt. 10 minutes went by and nothing. I took my sleeping grandson, laid him on my shoulders, and walked in to find the guy standing behind the register counting cash - totally forgot about me. My fiance works close by as a security guard and has come by this gas station to fill their security vehicle & went inside to use the restroom and was told that he could not use the restroom because it is for customers only. After my fiance explained that he justed pumped gas they said no sorry we lost the key. Then as my fiance leaves they proceed to let others in to use the restroom! I got 2 separate fraud charges of $80.42 each (totaling over $160) last night in addition to the actual purchase of 40.00 of gas. My credit company had notified me right away and all 3 transactions were under the name Emad Wasif as the Merchant. I have come inside to pay for my transactions for the last few times to avoid being rigged at the pump. BEWARE!! The gas pumps do not have security strips/tape or locks to protect from having the credit card readers from being compromised. I have had my credit card info stolen from one of the pumps and the bad thing about it is that the owners and workers know this is happening. When I brought this to their attention they just told me to pay for the gas inside at the counter because the security stripes are too expensive to install. If you do plan on using this station I highly suggest paying for your gas inside the store otherwise your credit card info will be stolen. read more

I've never bought gas here. The rating is for their car wash - it's not lousy and it didn't scratch the paint or anything, it just doesn't wash a car as well as I thought it would. My car was not that dirty. It has rained recently and I was hoping to wash away the water spots. Basically it's just pressurized water (with the pressure of a garden hose....) and then you're done and the dryer either malfunctioned, or maybe it doesn't work but I ended up with a wet car and $8 less.
