They truly captured the essence of who we are as a couple and as a family, from beginning to end. We knew the place we chose (mountain top) was beautiful on its own, but they managed to find even better spots and more incredible shots than we could have even imagined. What looked like an ordinary golf course and bench, for example, turned into this gorgeous fall foliage field. They experimented with drones, giving us these unreal artistic shots, but the heart of who they are was taking photos of our special moments -- tears, laughter, love, dancing and all. And they froze their butts off with us to get it done in unseasonably cold weather! Plus, damn, they are well-oiled machines, with such organization and precision to make sure we got all the photos we wanted without having to spend a lot of time away from the celebration. We could not recommend JPG Photo & Video enough. So many people have already commented that these are hands-down the most beautiful wedding photos they've ever seen. Kind, personable, organized, professional, creative and artistic.

We loved the photos we saw on JPG's website and their commitment to customers was clear from our very first conversation with Joe. We worked together to come up with a price/package that met our needs and chose Matt Bender as our primary photographer. Our engagement session gave us a chance to get to know Matt and for him to know us. When the big day came, we felt very comfortable with him and he (along with 2 other photographers) did a great job managing our family and bridal party for group shots. Many guests commented that our photographers were awesome throughout the evening. This skill should not be overlooked when you are evaluating a wedding photographer! In the end, we were thrilled with the quality and variety of pictures. The photo journalistic style captured the true essence of the day and there were a lot of really fun shots. To top it off, all of JPG's wedding packages include a DVD or thumb drive of high-res images with personal use rights - which means you have full flexibility when it comes to albums and prints. Bottom line: JPG brought the style, quality, and personality we were looking for at a competitive price. They were easy to work with from start to finish and we could not have been happier with the results.

We're in California and weren't able to travel so everything had to be done at a distance--and my partner and I had a LOT of diverse requirements. Cathie and her company were recommended by one of our subject matter experts/interviewees, and we were so relieved. But beyond that, let me just say they have been a dream to work with--flexible, communicative, enthusiastic and ready to do whatever it took to get what we needed. In particular, they worked in partnership with us, came up with great ideas, and worked with our vision. Their expertise in both interviewing and event shoots has been outstanding, and they have brought more to the project than we ever thought to hope for. I can't recommend them strongly enough. They are an AMAZING duo, extremely talented, and genuinely awesome people. They captured all of the important moments at our wedding with ease, and the entire family/wedding party photo session was stress-free and extremely efficient. Our photos are absolutely beautiful. It's been nearly two years (we're coming up on our 2 year anniversary - and I realized recently that we never left a Yelp review!) and we still have our photos proudly on display everywhere because the photos are both beautiful and fun. Cat and Al will produce timeless photos that you really want to keep on display forever - they do not feel stiff, fake, or overly formal like so many wedding photos we've seen from other photographers. More than any other vendor, BG Productions helped us nail down the timing of our entire day. On our first in-person meeting, they sat down with us and voluntarily helped us think through the schedule of events until we had everything worked out. We left that meeting incredibly excited, and also incredibly relieved to have finalized a task that had been causing us a huge headache. As a couple who was planning a weird wedding (steampunk themed), it was fantastic to have a photography team who not only understood the theme, but loves steampunk. Cathie and Al came in costume, so they fit right in with everyone at the wedding. We've had so many of our guests comment on how fantastic they were, and how much fun they were to have at the wedding. Lastly, Al produced a fantastic short video for our wedding that perfectly captured the essence of our big day. It was invaluable to have for family members who couldn't make it, and is something we plan to watch every year on our anniversary. We would highly recommend BG Productions to anyone!

Janelle did amazing makeup and was exceptional, making me feel very comfortable and listening closely to what I was hoping for and helped a lot with optimal styling of hair, makeup, etc. This is my third time to return to City Headshots...with the first two times working with Martin about 10 years ago. They have been really excellent all three times, and I would definitely go back again. The booking process and early communications are automated and streamlined.
