History
Established in 2000.
Founded in the fall of the year 2000 in Philadelphia, Lil' Drummaboy Recordings (LDB) is the brain child of artist/producer/musician Samori Coles. Conceived nearly four years earlier in Samori's hometown of Omaha, Nebraska, the initial concept for the company was simply to be an independent record label for local recording artists.
In the Fall of 1997, the company moved to the East Coast. Today, Lil' Drummaboy Recordings' headquarters and studio facilities are located on historic South Street in one of the most diverse artistic districts in Philadelphia. The company has remained true to its dedication to sound design through education in the sonic arts. The Music Technology & Recording Program has evolved into a comprehensive learning laboratory that teaches the fundamentals, technologies, techniques and internet tools that help lead to more fulfilling careers in today's global, intenet and technology-driven music market
