I have received some as gifts but had never visited the store itself until now. IMO this is a unique place in Sweden, or anywhere. There are two sewing machines right in the store, and everything is made in Sweden. The designs are delightful and the fabrics are workmanship are quality. Also, I was pleasantly surprised at the prices! The dollar is strong right now and these items were much less than I thought they would be. I bought a computer case, a makeup case, some dish towels and other gifts. Don't miss Hilda Hilda when shopping in Stockholm!

I fell in love with a striped sweater in this charming Söder boutique but sadly it did not love me back and refused to fit properly (persons of petite persuasion may often find this to be the case in Sweden, the smallest sizes are often not all that small.) However I did strike gold in my quest for traditional Swedish raggsockor (hand knit wool socks) and picked up a pair to give as a gift. And I ended up finding a pretty perfect white t-shirt for myself too! Their outwear selection should be noted; you can count on Stockholm having good choices when it comes to coats and Grandpa is no exception!

Emmaus is by far my number-one second-hand shopping stop in Stockholm. And that's not a statement…read moreto be taken lightly - I live on Södermalm, home of plenty of vintage and second-hand shops, and I visit them regularly. I am a total second-hand addict. Choose something with massive shoulder pads, call it vintage, and triple the price? No thanks. I prefer real second-hand - it's a treasure hunt of good deals. And Emmaus is the best! Why? For one, their selection is always changing. It's close to my work so sometimes I go there multiple days in a row and always see new things. It's also affordable. If you're shopping second hand then you don't want to end up paying a lot. Some shops on Södermalm, like Stadsmission by Nytorget, jack up the prices to ridiculous levels, but Emmaus has second-hand prices as they should be. You can easily get a great new dress for anything from 50 to 100 SEK - and sometimes they have sales where all dresses (for instance) are half off! The staff here do know their brands, so if you find something by a designer then it will typically reflect that in the price. But it will still be a great bargain! People are friendly here, and you can put an item on layaway for a day. Sometimes they even have 'parties' during the summer where they offer free snacks and have a DJ, which makes for a fun and unique thrifting experience. I always end up finding something here - a dress, a book I've been meaning to read, a gorgeous set of vintage tea cups, the Swedish game kubb, a new hat, beautiful t-strap heels. There's something for everyone if you just look!

They are one of the few stores that take male fashion seriously and to the next level! I like to take my time when I shop, this store is usually kind of busy but if go before lunch on weekdays you should be okey! The personal can sometimes be in their own thoughts but there isn't usually hard to find someone to ask for help from! So come here when you're out of ideas you are almost always bound to find something!

I went back to the shop and was told to remove the inner soles. They still squeak but can't be replaced because the inner soles have been removed... As a company (inditex) exploiting female workers in poor countries, leaving them unpaid when their sub-contractors collapse, what should you expect : low quality goods, poor customer service and negative impact on the environment. Never again !
