Horrible customer service, rude, and NO accountability whatsoever. Veronica could not explain their fees thoroughly and began to get an extreme attitude when asked simple clarifying questions that any customer would and has the right to ask. She rudely hung up on me during our zoom call and via emails was lying about services she so-called "completed" that had already been paid for. I had to ask multiple times just to get my documents back and knowing that she was stating false information and conflicting details, she had the nerve to send a final email stating to "disregard all previous emails" which she knew had completely incorrect and false information in them that conflicted w/ her own "husband-boss" Patrick. Just a horrible experience and Patrick has NO accountability as the business owner. Not a single phone call or anything to clear up all the miscommunications. He made calls to another tax preparer about me and my business when he could've just reached me directly. Not sure if he was scared or embarrassed to speak to me as a man and the "business owner" of his establishment. All-in-all, everything was fine until I realized they were attempting to DOUBLE and almost TRIPLE charge me for services that CLEARLY state online exactly what the price is. I made great money for my business so maybe they felt they could try and take advantage of me, but no. Veronica couldn't explain the charges and knowing that I caught her in hugely conflicting price details she became agitated and rude. She even began disrespectfully laughing during our Zoom call. All the while this is going on, Patrick is hiding behind emails and calling other parties to discuss MY matter! HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND WHATSOEVER. Thank goodness my new CPA saved me. Based on reading these other reviews, I'm sure Veronica or Patrick will write some snazzy comment below to deflect, make an excuse, or claim another lie to show that this is all my fault. This place is ridiculous, they don't even know how taxes are done. If you're like me and travel out of state for work DO NOT go there, I work in states where they are not state taxes withdrawn, but they do not understand that when u work out of state (Texas) example u don't get state deducted just federal. I get state deducted when I work in Cali but they are ademant that star taxes from Cali should count for my whole amount I make all year. Therefore causing me to pay over due fees to Cali when I work in state feee taxes. Very unhappy with the service from here. I was referred to Veronica by my gf who said she's timely and professional and will help with my returns. Although i am in NJ, and Veronica is in California, I took a leap of faith because my gf worked with Veronica got 4 years. She is very nice at 1st and was very responsive calling me at the beginning and telling me that she would do an estimate and get back to me very soon. This was more than 2 weeks ago that she promised this. I called her again this past Monday and left a message saying I need to speak to Veronica. She didn't call back but emailed me that wednesday night promising me my returns are done and that she will get it to me that same night. Now it's Friday and still no response. I don't even think she started my returns. What I am most upset about is I told her up front that if for any reason she is too busy or doesn't have time to do my returns then no big deal I'd be going somewhere else. She assured me that she can help me and I believed her. EXTREMELY angry at this place and Veronica. My tax returns are due less than a week and now I need to scramble to find an appointment. My point is, just be Honest and up front with your clients. Don't get their hopes up and just kick them to the curb. very bad bad service. read more

Very bad service, I was the next person to be called on a woman named Veronica's list, but instead of being attended next, she called another person--who wasn't even on the waiting list and had only just arrived--insisting to me that "it will only be for a few minutes." I waited for over an hour and there was still no response. I asked the man sitting up front to call her and ask her how much longer she would take, and he told me to wait for "five more minutes." BS. People don't have all the time in the world, you know. We've got places to go, things to get done. I understand that you are only doing your job, but at least try to be more professional about it.
