I've always loved this place. I feel like it's been in the Corn Exchange forever, but have a feeling they might have started out in one of the arcades before that. They clothes, independently designed, are so sleek and so cool. For the longest time they were just for guys, but in recent times I've noticed a lot of items in there for the ladies too. The look is preppy, clean, casual, and effortless -- not preppy in that American Ralph Loren way, but sort of chic casual. I'm a fan of the jackets and mean to go back for a proper rummage soon, since it's much more my style than it was five years ago. (I used to be a lot more vintage.)
Housed in the Corn Exchange, their shop is always really inviting -- simply laid out for easy access and easy browsing, and the staff are not intrusive. Price wise, since it's indie and well-designed, you're looking more high end but I'd hazard better to spend here than on some huge brand. I'll be back in soon for a few new pieces, just as soon as I've gotten rid of the clutter in my wardrobe at home! read more
