DO NOT COME HERE FOR EMBROIDERY WORK!!!…read more The service was nice AT FIRST. I explained to the young man up front that I was looking to see if they were able to stitch names on to a nightgown. The man in charge of embroidery came out, I explained what I wanted, and he began to place tape on the gown where the name was going to go. He then said it would cost $20 per gown. I asked him to explain to me why it would cost so much so I could justify paying $100. Then he folded up my gowns and then said he would not do it if I thought it was too much. So, after trying to get it justified but getting nowhere (I would have paid the price if it was a standard reason like $2 a letter), I took the clothes and walked out. When I was sitting in my car finding another shop, the man came running up to my car, asked if he could have the tape back from the clothes. I said sure and grabbed the clothes. THIS MAN THEN WENT OVER TO THE PASSENGER SIDE OF MY CAR AND TRIED TO OPEN MY DOOR! Thank goodness I saw him cross in front of my hood and locked my doors! THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE! DO NOT COME HERE!

After talking about her hair and nails with another customer, she rudely asks me "Why you come in here at 4:30 we about to close?" The place doesn't close until 5 and I was just placing an order, not asking for same day service. When I told her what I wanted, which is the same thing I have gotten done two times before at this location, she told me no, that's too much to put on here. I have literally gotten the exact same thing done twice before with no problems. I then spoke with her supervisor who excused this severe lack of customer service by saying that's how she talks to everyone. When I am spending close to $200 on a gift from my company to a Veteran, I at least expect common courtesy and decent customer service. Never again.

I dropped off a sport coat on August 11 for sleeve alterations. My pickup sheet clearly stated…read moreAugust 21 at 2:30 PM. I arrived about 15 minutes early and was told the tailor was just getting to it and that it would be about 45 minutes. I waited in my truck, came back around 3:00, and the jacket still was not finished because the buttons still had to be put back on. What bothered me most was not simply the delay. It was the fact that the work apparently was not started until my scheduled pickup time, despite the shop having the jacket for ten days. To make matters worse, the vent lining had previously been opened while we discussed a possible alteration to the back of the jacket, and when the jacket was handed back to me, that lining had not been sewn closed. I had to catch that myself. The final cost was $85.60. I understand that shops can run behind, but a scheduled pickup time should mean the garment is completed and ready to be inspected and taken home. Starting the work at the pickup time, then returning the jacket with part of the lining unfinished, is not the level of service I expected at this price. Unfortunately, this experience left me with very little confidence in bringing another garment here. After getting home and inspecting the jacket more closely, I also found the stitching used to close the lining was unusually loose and uneven compared with the construction on my other sport coats. I no longer have confidence in the quality of the alteration and will be taking it elsewhere for evaluation/repair.
