This "lawyer" should be avoided for anything to do with private mortgage investing. Several of…read morethese loans are in default and have cost many long term "clients" hundreds of thousands and in some cases million of dollars. These private mortgages are being done with charlatans that should never even be considered for doing transactions with. In one case there was a private mortgage for Condos in Huntsville. Small problem is there were never any condos at the address in the loan papers. Other loans to companies and people with multiple bankruptcies. Moldaver charges for both broker fees and legal fees which leave him conflicted because the brokerage fees are 5X the legal fees. He should have negative stars as one star is far too generous. If you are someone considering investing in a private mortgage please do yourself a favour and don't do it.
