I can't believe these guys are still in business. They combine the worst business practices: being…read moregreedy (overcharging customers for their merchandise) and being incompetent (my colleagues have heard lots of horror stories of botched-up repair jobs from ex-customers) and crooked (they ripped me off). I brought in a v4 PS2 Fat to get fixed back in 2002. They claimed that they were an authorized Sony representative (they weren't), they promised they could drop off my system at my home on their way back from picking it up at their repair center in Ville Saint Laurent (I had to pick it up). I noticed that the serial number of the console I got back was different, but didn't think much of it until it broke down about three months later. Since this fell on the Holiday Season I notified them by phone to let them know it broke down and that I wanted it fixed under the warranty when I pass by after the Holidays. Needless to say they didn't want to honor the warranty and when I asked why it broke down only three months later, I was told that that's a stupid question to ask. Later research showed that the machine I got back was a early model v1 and not a later model v4. So they used false pretenses to charge me $150.00 for swapping my newer PS2 for a crappy old one and refused to honor their warranty. Now they've closed their downtown store (I wonder why) and moved to St. Therese. Fat load of good that'll do if they take their poor business ethics with them.
