I explained that I'm disabled, that was a hardship for me. then, they transferred my account to Waukegan, even farther away. and I dumped them. So, for twenty years, I've had a different insurance carrier. I don't have to change agents at a corporation's whim. I've gotten used to my new company. I wish I could've stayed with AmFam. The Company just could not hear me. if Brad is your Agent, and retires, tell the company to butt out. Keep your Agency.

My wife and I had an issue and needed to talk to our agent, however the first time we needed him we couldn't get past his receptionist. He never returned any calls and when we asked to speak to him, he was never available. If I didn't want an agent I would of just signed up with Esurance, Allstate's sister company and saved money. After 30+ years I and several family members parted ways with Allstate and his office. I have never had a complaint about Allstate but dealing with his office left a bad taste in my mouth. On a side note we keep getting letters from his office that he is more then willing to talk to us to see what insurance he can sell us.
