Mizner park, located in the heart of Boca Raton, is one of those places that you'll eventually find yourself going to for some reason. A decently sized outdoor, "mall" is designed, for you eat, shop, and have a night cap all in one spot- if you have Boca taste. You'll find fancy cooking stores like Sur LA Table. You'll find eateries like Kapow, Ruby Tuesday, Max Grille as well as an ice cream shop, jazz club and of course, Starbucks. Surrounded by apartments, and town homes, this is a pretty great place for residents and locals who can walk there. There are a few parking garages there. As well as valet at many of the restaurants. IPic, the best movie theater, is there. In the middle of the mall are a fountain, gazebo and some park benches. While I like Mizner, it's not really a park. Yes, there are trees, but I wouldn't go there to fly a kite. I don't really consider it a mall because I don't think there are enough shops there to call it a mall and the ones that are there, I can't afford. I'll always go to Mizner, but it will never be my favorite outdoor mall in the area. Thank you for IPic though. read more

Mizner Park is a sprawling outdoor mall with a labyrinth of retail and dining options. The clothing retail is limited stores ranging from higher end (Tommy Bahama, J. McLaughlin) to a number of non chain options. There are also furniture and home hood stores. The plaza seems to be undergoing some renovations. I found it an odd mix that felt past it's prime. read more

I've come to Mizner a few times. To the movies, for dinner and shopping. Even to a Yelp event (well it was across the street) the point is that this is a pretty convenient place to spend a few hours of leisure. They have it all. Irish Pub (Dubliner) Asian Fusion (Kapow!), more upscale dining (Truluk and a few other places) dessert place (It's Sugar) movies (iPic) and shopping. And my favorite place to come in and check out ZGallerie!! Parking is also a breeze. There is street parking and garage. This was the first place we frequented since moving down to Florida. It's a fun, poppin', and for the most part, ritzy place. There's a mixed bag of people here but I tend to notice there's an older crowd. You're guaranteed to see a really fast, expensive, and fancy car parked or driving nearby. There's a parking garage as well as on street metered parking; certain businesses offer valet service. In the middle, there's a little strip of grassy area with trees and water fountains. Around this median, there are tons of outdoor shops and restaurants. Quite a few of these places have outdoor seating options. The most notable establishments that pops up in my head are: *IPic (movie theater) *Yardhouse (restaurant/bar) *Kapow (restaurant) *Sloan's (ice cream) *Starbucks (coffee) There's quite a few other shops and restaurants to choose from so you won't be bored. This is a very beautiful shopping plaza. It's a great place to people watch or take your pup for a stroll. The pastel colors on the buildings were very intriguing; some of them are apartments/condos. The huge and majestic palm trees adds a nice touch. Whenever we have family or friends in town, we like to show them this place. read more

Mizner Park is what South Florida (but more specifically Boca Raton) is all about! An open air "mall" with stores and restaurants lined with palm trees. There's something for everyone really. From big box department stores to small boutiques, it's great for a shopping trip. From some Yelp favorites such as Kapow! and Max's Grille to the what now seems like the obligatory Starbucks. They even have a jazz club and movie theater (where you can have food and drinks while watching the movie). They also host a ton of events a year here. The amphitheater at the end of the block is an extremely versatile space and I've seen it used for everything from concerts to car shows. It's also right next to what I think is one of the hidden gems in Boca - the BOCA Art Museum - with a fantastic sculpture garden and revolving exhibits inside. I just recently learned that you can park in the garages for free! Anything above the second floor is free! read more

Mizner Park is not unlike many areas around the country where the old conventional enclosed shopping malls have been taken down, to redefine and redevelop a depressed area. The Boca Mall occupied part of this site until the late 80's erasing what once was the stomping grounds for loitering teens and old men sporting Rockports making laps around the mall rain or shine. Many of the old malls remaining are nothing more than decrepit relics of the 20th century, just the suggestion to raze them is welcomed by most. The majority of the population has migrated towards the new lifestyle centers with their street grids and sidewalks that convey a sense of being out and about. The JC Penny's, Sears and Dillard's who held the retail space of the past will soon go the way Montgomery Wards, Woolworths, Circuit City and hundreds of others have gone. These modern lifestyle centers combine the traditional retail functions of a shopping mall with leisure amenities oriented towards upscale consumers with the likes of Lord & Taylor, Martier,Tommy Bahama and numerous other specialty retailers. Mizner Park is also home to highly rated eateries such as Max's Grille, Ruth Chris, Yard House, Villagio's, Starbucks and Uncle Julio's replacing the outdated staples like Orange Julius, Auntie Anne's or Sbarro to name a few. This new age shopping district has become the epitome of a "unique urban village" attracting people from all walks of life, making it one of the more entertaining areas in town to shop, dine or just sip a latte and people watch. Mizner Park is beautifully done offering a relaxed atmosphere that promotes shoppers to stay longer which has proven to increase the per square foot revenue well beyond the traditional malls that are failing at a rate unprecedented in our lifetime. This is about the only type of venue left that can compete with the online services operating out of one huge call center that ships directly from the supplier virtually eliminating all the overhead burdening conventional retailers. Ok Children let's start with a history lesson: Mizner Park is the site where the "Boca Mall" (not to be confused with the Town Center at Boca Raton) was in the 1970s. They closed it down in the 80s. Then came the glamorized version in 1994 called Mizner Park! The history lesson does not stop there: this luxurious area is named after Addison Mizner who had dreamed in his life to make Boca Raton a resort like city with his architectural style. Mizner Park is a perfect way to spend a nice day doing various activities: all in one location. First you can visit some 40+ shops which consist of clothes, furniture, shoes etc. Or you can watch a nice movie in the iPic theater. Lastly if you don't like the suggestions above just walk around the well maintained plaza or sit in one of the many benches. Did I mention the many food options ???! There are many restaurants in Mizner Park. While living in Boca we definitely took advantage of this location for meeting up with family and friends and deciding one restaurant. Some of my favs are Max's Grille, Kapow, and Dubliner. All in all, Mizner Park is a hit with locals and tourists whatever the occasion or mood may be!~ read more

I love Mizner. The only reason it's 4/5 stars is because parking can be a pain and some people can be offputting due to the wealth that frequents here. Plenty of high quality shops, restaurants, places to get a drink, and even more within walking distance. iPic is great. My favorite restaurant here would have to be Max's. Rack's is great for happy hour seven days per week as well. If you're in Boca or nearby, it's definitely worth a trip! read more

I enjoy Mizner park. 4 stars because it just is crazy busy and packed at times. Lots of festival and events going on. Lots of great restaurants and happy hours. I especially love the Dubliner, Kapow, Loch Bar, and Max's Grill. There are grassy area for kids to play and families to relax. Lots of beautiful boutiques. It is fun to just grab a coffee at Starbucks and walk around and feel fancy in Boca Raton. Parking can be difficult on the weekends and evenings. But there is a parking garage and you can sometimes find street parking. There is also an art museum there that is fun to check out. I could spend a whole day at Mizner park. read more

Mizner Park isn't the picnic/recreational park as one might, without seeing it, think it to be. It's actually a very upscale mall with an open grass and tree studded park in the center of it. The park as such is one of the finest, oldest, best planned and most upscale of malls to be found with the streets of Plaza Real West and Plaza Real East running through the center encompassing the more traditional like "park" area of it. Overall, Mizner Park is a wonderful venue to visit. It's quintessential Boca Raton and as such reeks with class and style. With all of its various stores, restaurants and other shops it offers something that should prove captivating to everyone and every taste. Without a visit to Mizner Park, there is no way one will ever know what Boca is about or get to know the meaning of what many refer to as being "Boca Style." read more

A quaint nice outdoor shopping plaza. A fair amount of restaurants, entertainment, and shops for someone to enjoy an evening or afternoon at. iPic Theaters, Yardhouse, Max's Grille, Concerts, Events, Dogs, etc. Mizner Park is a happening place, mainly in the evenings and weekends. It's a really nice area to eat at, with a lot of choices to choose from. I would venture to say that the most generic thing here is a Ruby Tuesday's and it all goes uphill from there. There is also a Starbucks, as well as an ice cream shop for some quick eats. The Cheese Course, and a place where they give cooking lessons also occupies spaces in Mizner, but yet again by the time you read this who knows if they'll still be there, because the shops seem to have a pretty high turnover rate, so lots of change every few months. Shopping-wise most of the boutiques are high end, so don't come here looking for a GameStop and such. At one end is a little concourse area which usually holds concerts and events for the community, many of them are free. A lot of people bring their lawn chairs to sit and listen, so come prepared. Parking can be a major pain in the evenings. There are parking garages and some parking meters inside the perimeter of the plaza. Also, valet parking, but even that can be a pain because it is usually packed. A plus is that the garages are free, which is always nice to have. The actual space of Mizner Park isn't that big and you can walk both sides of the park in probably under 15 minutes. Still it can be an enjoyable location to make an evening out of. read more

This is a nice, upscale shopping area. They have some really nice and unique shops and restaurant. Parking has never been an issue and again, we got lucky to find a street space just where we wanted to be. There are so many restaurants to chose from but we went with a destination planned so no tough decisions on this trip. As for shopping, we hadn't planned to do any more than window shopping but came away with something to take to our hosts later in the evening and our first Xmas gift. Hooray for us! I have always loved this place but stay away when the weather is too hot or rainy as it is outside... the only negative (and I'm a weather weenie!). I love coming here. Although it may be mistaken by some as a shopping mall, I view it more as a pedestrian park. From the number of great restaurants (Max's, Rack's, Cheese Course, Truluck's etc); bars (Dubliner, Yard House-coming soon); premium movie theater; Boca Raton Museum; the adjacent amphitheater (where you can camp out on the mall and listen in); and the series of events and fairs held here it remains of the centerpieces and social places of Boca Raton's Community and just a great place to hang out. It has undergone the loss of some anchor stores and restaurants. However with the loss of the old comes in the new, with Lord & Taylor to replace the old Robb & Stuckys, by next year or so and Yard House to occupy the space which held my much beloved Zed451, very soon. If you are in Boca, this is one place you should visit. read more

Mizner is an interesting spot. It is quintessential Boca. High end shops and restaurants lined by perfectly manicured pavered roadways. The things I love about Mizner would be the variety of food options (Kapow Noodle Bar and Yardhouse anyone?), and the variety of events held allthroughout the year. You can come here for dinner and a concert, or shopping and a festival. Variety is the spice of life, afterall. All of this AND dog friendly makes me enjoy going to Mizner for different, but all entertaining, reasons. read more

This is a wonderful place to walk around and take in the beautiful architecture, or sit down and people watch. A great place to bring out of towners to kill a few hours. I also love all the new and amazing restaurants that have popped up in the last few years, I remember many years ago Mizner was a dead spot, but now thanks to all the cool bar, restaurants and new stores, Mizner has become a great place to hang out. It's time for an update! I see this place 5 days a week and the upkeep is STILL phenomenal. This is Boca, after all. Mizner has really come full circle hasn't it? When I first moved to Florida I remember how this placed was just marveled by everyone. It immediately became the first destination you'd take out-of-towners to just to show them how them just how great life was in Sunny south Florida while they're still shuffling snow. There was the Breakers and then was this--Mizner Park. It was the place your parents dropped you off with a group of friends so you could meander around, maybe catch a movie (pre iPic), browse Liberties (the greatest music/book store there was in Boca) and just have fun with friends in a nice, "safe" and overall awesome environment. Then suddenly Mizner lost its luster. Places like Riverfront (once cool, can you believe it?) and City Place gave it a beating and stores starting become obscure and obsolete in Mizner. Now after years or remodeling, some heavy PR and finding some investors, this place is back to where it began. While most of the stores there do not appeal to me, and I NEVER see anyone actually buy anything from Z Galleries (isn't that just a place you go to kill time while waiting for your reservations or movie time?) or any of the stores there, Mizner has a lot to offer. The Cheese Course, iPic, Dubliner, Yardhouse, Kapow and Max's Grille are all worthy of your attention. Even Jaeger-LeCoultre deserves its place, as does some of those pricey pedestrian restaurants and if you're balling on a budget then there is always the infamous Ruby Tuesdays which is the longest standing business in all of Mizner Park. Some of the best places to eat are just walking distance from Mizner too (Tucci's, Kin Noodle), so park your car, grab a bite and just stroll. It's outstanding when they have concerts there too, but parking is outrageous. Mizner, the place intended for the upper class, but where all walks of life come to feel good about living in such a mundane city like Boca Raton. read more

Mizner defines boca raton. It's transformation through out the years has been great. Previously being super stuffy and really only for the richy rich. Now it's a lot more diverse in choices. Don't get me wrong there are some seriously pricy high end resturants, boutiques, etc for the 1% ers. But there also is an Irish pub (dubliners), Mexican joint (uncle julios), yard house, and even reasonable family dining at ruby Tuesdays. Night life there are a few bars and jazziz which is a swanky type of jazz club. My favorite happy hr spot is here (racks). They also have bunch of events throughout the year, an art museum, the most over the top movie theater in south Florida (ipic) and a music amphitheater. The amphitheater is open air and when they have concerts you can bring lawn chairs and sit in the grassy areas of mizner and hear all the music without being a ticket holder (they do put up tarp - like things to prevent you from seeing anything). It's a great spot to stroll around, grab a drink or dinner, and just take in the day or night. read more

The restaurants vary from upscale, special occasion, fine dining to casual. Max's Grille is an old favorite if u r looking for a fine dining restaurant. Tanzy is great for a romantic evening, without breaking the bank to pay for it! Yard House is a fun casual restaurant- Great place for a group of friends! I highly recommend Mizner Park! Went to Sur La Table to get a gift , made sure I put enough in the meter. Came back to my car to find a city of Boca employee giving me a $35.00 ticket!! I still had time left... he said to read the ticket. I parked at the north end by the theatre. According to the employee , I parked " the wrong way" He was also ticketing the other two cars there. I love this little shopping area in downtown Boca. It's beautifully designed with the royal palms lining the streets and water fountains throughout the green area. It's a lovely place to go for a walk, to shop or to eat. There are several unique shops, restaurants, and an Ipic movie theatre. There is a Lord and Taylor here as well. Although to me it seems to be a bit smaller than most Lord and Taylor's I've been to. Some of our favorites here are: Kapow Asian Noodle Bar, Villagios, Yard House, Max's Grille restaurants, and Starbucks. There are two huge parking garages that offer free parking. There are also several spots that run along the road thru the shopping center at a nominal fee. The amphitheater is also at one end of the mall area. read more

I started coming to Mizner Park only this year. This place is great to come to with your family and with friends. There are many options to choose from. From its restaurants to the theater iPic. This place is great. I love coming to Yard House for happy hour. Or to Max's Grille for a Creme Brûlée pie. It's la great. My favorite theater is iPic so far. The seats at so comfortable and the complimentary popcorn is yummy. Also make sure you order the truffle fries. Walking around Mizner is great when there a breeze. It can get a little loud on the weekends especially if there's a game. There's always something to do here. I will be coming here for a long time. I want to think my boyfriend for showing me this place. Many memories have been made here and I'm sure more to come. read more

I come to Mizner once a month to teach a seminar, invariably, since I have to make the drive up to Boca, I like to schedule at least 2 or 3 meetings to take advantage of the trip, and Mizner always has a great venue to meet someone, plenty of restaurants, all the way from upscale to casual and the coffee shop to cruise the wifi and get up to speed on some emails and work. If it happens to get a bit late to beat the rush hour traffic back home, there is always the cinema, gives the rare opportunity to catch a flick by myself, quite liberating, I may add. The is plenty of parking and it is quite convenient. There is actually something quite surreal to walk around Mizner on a given weekday, even though I am working, it feels like I am playing hookie. It is a warm, inviting upscalish atmosphere, suitable to charge your senses and make you feel good. Check it out if you are around, it makes your day! read more

My first appearance here yesterday was overdue. I wasn't sure what to expect here when we decided to have lunch at Ruby Tuesday's. We decided to take a walk and check out what else was on the strip. There are several restaurants and the high end shops to blow money at if you are in the mood to do so. It's very clean and people bring their dogs to walk and even eat a meal with them.
