The customer service is consistently top-notch. I picked up a Tudor FXD from them brand new, and the entire process was smooth and enjoyable. I also sold them a vintage Rolex, and they were very fair with their offer. I combined that with some of my own money to purchase the Tudor, and I couldn't be happier with how everything worked out. The store itself is clean and welcoming. On hot days they even offer cold water, which is a small touch but says a lot about how they treat their customers. Their selection of pre-owned watches is excellent--plenty of great pieces to look through. I haven't spent much time on the jewelry side, but the watch selection alone is worth the visit. Overall, Brockhaus is a solid place to buy or sell watches, and I've always left feeling well taken care of. Highly recommended.

I could not believe how low the quote was that he gave me for a white gold ring resize. I was also happy to find out that they have promotions going on for extra percentage off of different social media platforms. I sent my husband in almost 3 weeks later to mention the quote and conversation and Roberto immediately remembered our message details! That is excellent customer service! He took the ring and had it sized in a few business hours. I expected him to try to upsell us into paying for a rhodium plating because my husband's ring is a few years old, and he did not even mention it. (All of the other jewelers that I contacted mentioned it, and I get rather annoyed when other businesses push something onto you for more money that isn't necessary.) When he got the ring back, it looked fantastic! It did not even need the plating! They cleaned it up and shined it and it fit perfectly! My mother passed away last year and I have an old gold chain that she always wore and never took off. Unfortunately the chain had broken and so I took it to another jeweler for repair along with some other other items. The other jeweler barely looked at the chains and advised immediately that they could not be fixed because they were not real gold. This was not only gut wrenching news as I felt this necklace was a part of my mother that was now gone forever, but to hear that she had been wearing something that was gold plated for decades seemed strange since she never took it off even to shower. They were then very interested in selling me something new. I was immediately turned off and fled that place. I then came to Lewis' thinking I would be told the same thing. I was pleasantly surprised that I was told the opposite. I walked in and was immediately assisted by Abby, who advised that while the chain was old, it was real 10 carat gold and could be fixed with no problem. She also helped me fix a vintage necklace that I bought at a flea market and wasn't of real value other than it looked cool and then I bought two other silver chains from her for some pendants I had lying around. She never steered me toward more expensive items and since I wanted to buy two chains instead of one, she even offered me a small discount which she didn't have to do. I will never forget her kindness and if anything, it makes me want to come back over and over again. I was able to walk around a bit while she worked her magic and I have to say that the fine jewelry they have on display is stunning and modern and priced reasonably well for what it is.

I went to their small display in a market in Moore and now they've opened their very own store in Norman. Two Hip Chicks also display some of their cute items at Victoria's Pasta in Norman. The two ladies that own the store I met last year at the OKC fairgrounds at a craft show. I've special ordered items as well as bought items that are already made. I live in Northern CA so I haven't had a chance to actually go in their new store so I must plan a trip to Norman to visit the store. Mr K's mother gave us a beautiful, heirloom ring; it was worn by both his grandmother and mother and is certainly very special and needed special treatment. We took it to Shortt's on a Saturday afternoon after New Years'. The ring needed some new prongs to keep the emerald cut stone safe and secure. It also needed lots of cleaning, resizing, and some repair. They gave us some really good advice about what would work best for this antique wedding set. We made our decisions and left the rings, but not for long. Shortt's took care of all of this in just a few days, for a very reasonable price. The ring is absolutely beautiful and we're so appreciative of their help.

My mom decided to check out a small local place called Shortt's because it was close to our house (at that time--they've since moved their shop to Norman; check out their Facebook page for the most up-to-date information). I begrudgingly went there (who wants to do what their mom says?), and I found the perfect ring for me. The engagement ring part is white gold and the setting curls around the large diamond and another tiny diamond comes off the setting, so that that part of the ring looks like a flower with a stem and tiny leaf by itself. The part you add has two sapphires flanking another small diamond, and it curls around the large diamond. I'm not good at describing it, but several people have remarked on how unique it is and can't believe I didn't have to custom order it. Also, it was much cheaper than most of the boring wedding sets the big companies had. The guy who helped us was friendly but professional, and there were no problems with the transaction. They also welded the two parts together for free, after I was finally able to part with it for a day. Also, I was worried about getting white gold because one of my friends got a white gold wedding set from one of the big stores and she's had to get it recoated once already, but I've been wearing mine for two years and the white gold still looks good. I am very satisfied with their service and craftsmanship.

If the sales lady was upfront about taking the extra metal and keeping it, I wouldn't be upset, but due to the fact that she waved me off and made me think my ask was reasonable, then gaslit me after, I lost a part of an important heirloom to my family.
