Fantastic service! As a Christmas present, my Husband custom ordered an earring from them to replace one that I had lost. Miraculously, on Christmas day he found the lost earring - a few days after ordering the new one. We went in the day after Christmas and were able to cancel the order, which they were very gracious about. Then, as a Christmas present, we used the money that my Husband had paid to order the new earring (which Mitchell's also would have returned, had we selected that option), and I got to pick out some new jewelry instead. We were assisted by Ryan, a manager, who could not have been more patient or helpful. I really wasn't planning on jewelry shopping that day and had no idea what I wanted, so that poor man walked me through just about every case in the store - and he did it so patiently. We had a great experience as Mitchell's and will certainly be shopping there again. We will also use them for jewelry repair when needed. Like many others, I came in to Mitchell's looking for an engagement ring not knowing a lot about them or the process. I read reviews online and couldn't believe how satisfied everyone was, so I definitely had to check it out for myself. Jessica and Ryan were extremely knowledgeable and friendly, and were able to design a beautiful custom ring from several pictures I had. It was also delivered almost two weeks earlier than originally promised (during the holiday season). I was expecting buying a ring to be similar to buying a car, but I never felt pushed or pressured into anything. I told them my budget and they stuck to it. I definitely won't go anywhere else for anything jewelry related as long as I'm here and they're open. This is a very special place, and we're lucky to have them in Norman! I do not know how they are when it comes to just buying straight from their inventory but the customer service was awful when it came to designing jewelry. If you wanted any information on how the process was going you either had to call or go to the store. For example if they told you they would get back to you in a week on some certain particular you wouldn't hear from them for three weeks and you would have to call or show up to get the update. They are very vague and every time you go in you are working with someone else and have to get them up-to-date. We took our business elsewhere and if you are designing a piece I suggest you do the same and save yourself the hassle. read more
